PHM 2015-In Pursuit of Cupcakes While Running in Glass Slippers

I try to get some sort of purse each time I go. The first time (honeymoon) I spent all my spending money on a beautiful Dooney and Bourke Pop Princess satchel (i think that's the style it is...), and I have no regrets. This time I wanted a Princess Half wristlet, and a Vera Bradley Where's Mickey purse. They didn't have either (PHM they only had letter carrier, shopper and tote sizes, more than I wanted to spend. I actually immediately regretted it, and they were sold out before I got back the next day. Ended up paying about $50 extra on a Letter Carrier after the fact. Ah well.). I got a Vera Bradley Midnight with Mickey mini hipster though. Do Tuesday or Thursday have any questions for them? I think you should have an article day. I was just reading one about 'should you encourage someone you pass in a race?' opinion article, it was pretty neat.

Oooooooh I have a D&B collection. I love them. It's my Disney splurge item. I did not get one this last trip though because I am not happy with the current styles. Kind if blah. Waiting for the new ones to arrive. Maybe by PHM next year.

Did you see the price of it? Way too much IMO. Also they took away the premium pass 20% discount which makes me sad However you can use the 20% morning shopping coupon that prints on receipts for them.

What souvenir do you have to get each time you go to Disney or on a trip?

I don't have any must buy items. Although we usually buy new resort mugs every trip.
Our big thing is to take a picture of the kids by a certain object to see how much they have grown. My daughter is with the sword in the stone. And my son is with one of the suits of armor in the castle. He is now taller than it.

I'm on a disney dooney fb page ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/345194952280680/ come join!) and there was a recent discussion about how the disney store page had a picture of the Haunted Mansion bag with a red lining, which was odd, because the original bag had a darker lining, so the speculation was that Disney is about to release another round of HM bags. :O

Still out of my price range, though.

Anyway, I always have to get a mug and an ornament. ALWAYS. I get one for each trip!

The ornament is usually something that relates to the trip, for instance, this year I got a light-up castle to remind me of running through it for PHM. (they didn't have any Princess ornaments) and when I went with Rey for our Anniversary, we stayed at AKL and loved it, so I got this one:

Love the Zebra ornament! there were these glass mickeys in Germany at Epcot that I regret not getting and I hope they still have them when we go in December. They were so unique and beautiful! I have a Hallmark ornament from last year that is the castle and has the fireworks. I am such a sap that I actually choke up when it plays "when you wish upon a star." I will be such a dork when I run through the castle, it is my favorite feature!

I too love ornaments! I tend to get one for each of the kids each year. I seem to have picked up mugs on our last couple trips because they had Ariel mugs and Ariel is my favorite! I just can't resist!​

I didn't complete my C25K day yesterday

So, after looking on Google and trying to match my symptoms and trying to not panic that I may have breast cancer - I think I have Costochondritis.

The pain stretchs under my breast on the rib in the front. It doesn't hurt to run or walk but when I move a certain way it hurts a little but when I touch it - it feels like a bruise/sharp pain

It started a few days ago and came out of no where. I was sick a few weeks ago with a really bad sinus infection and I am exercising but I didn't hit my rib or do anything. My only guess is stress/anxiety?

I'm going to the doctors on Monday to get it looked at.

Has anyone ever purchase the Run Disney NewBalance shoes. I am thinking of getting them. I am not a purse person but would wear the shoes not to run but in everyday. Did anyone like the fit to maybe to wear in the parks?

Could it just be your sports bra? Without a good, supportive bra you can certainly feel bruised in that area. I have a moving comfort bra that cost $50 but is totally worth it. If it's dirty and I run in a cheap one I feel it the next day.

No harm in getting an all clear from a doctor! As I mature I just have to run alot of things by my doc now. Edie is right a good bra for the girls is worth its price in gold. But no worries go by and just make sure everything is ok

I was wondering the same thing. I would like to buy them, but I am not sure about running in them. I do love my running shoes, but often get swayed to look at other pairs that look "cooler" although I have never been one to go with the looks, just the fact that my legs like them.

It could be! I don't really have a supportive one but strange that a bra could cause such pain - and on my rib! I'm small chested too - like 32 B hahaha at 25 I have no hope in them growing but I like it this way

Of course! I was going to wait a few weeks but I'm just going to go on Monday. The pain hurts when I move sometimes but I also have a sitting job so I'm in a chair all day typing! I'm making a post it note full of things that are wrong with me for the Dr. hahahaha! I'm going to bring up my slight knee pain as well but I think she is just going to be like ICE! But the chest issue, it's strange...it's located when I press the bottom of my breast. It's a dull, sharp pain but is in a line across on the rib.

I hope it's just a chest injury! My shoulder blade hurts too but just a slight ache time to time! It feels like shoulder bursitis - just like the pain I have in my hip but my hip thank goodness got better. My other theory is Fibromyalgia and if do, I will conquer the pains and aches and run this challenge with this syndrome in my back pocket!

Better to get everything checked out. I find that when I self diagnosis, things are so grim and I think I have cancer. I have come to learn that I can't search for things on the web.

I am not much into souvenirs. Usually my souvenir is the pictures that I take and the scrapbook albums that I make from them. But I do like to indulge on a couple little things while on trips. I collect picture frames and ornaments on trips.

I am thinking of maybe a castle frame this time...but this is my favorite. Love me Hidden Mickeys!

My must have purchase for each trip is a new ornament as well as a pin.

When I was there in Feb for PHM, I got a Haunted Mansion Mickey ornament (that screams princess...right?) & a few pins (the 5K & 1/2 pins I had pre-ordered, then I also got a Run Disney pin & lanyard).

I have seen people say the RD NB shoes are not great for running. Cant remember what type of shoe they are, but a lot of runners complain about them & really just wear them for non-running.
