I'm an ENFJ, too. And I think the description said we're about 3-4% of the population. So, considering that the other type is 2% and we're 3-4%, I'm wondering who's making up the remaining 95% and why they're not all hanging out on this thread!!

I've known an awful lot of Idealist Healers in my life, too many for me to believe that they are only 1% of the population.
There seems to be a lot more of them than the statistics claim.

According to the Keirsey people, Idealists overall are only 10% of the population. I wonder how they figured that out LOL.

INFJ's and many "N's" are over-represented on internet forums. They prefer forums because they are less invasive than having enormous amounts of emails that MUST be responded to drop into their email boxes(smile). On forums, they can come and go as they please and just read if they are feeling less like they want to interact by posting. So, it isn't uncommon to find so many of them on a forum like this, but out in the real world there are many, many more "E's" and "S's."

But seriously speaking...
If you see a chart of all 16 types, supposedly, you are most "naturally" compatible with any types directly next to you -- it doesn't mean you aren't compatible with others... more that you will have to work harder/more conscientiously to understand one another.
