The shirt I want to get is the one that my sister spotted someone wearing during the news coverage. It reads:

18 WINS - 1 GIANT LOSS

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone was trying to leave. The field was covered with fans. It looked like he was trying to get them to just run of the one second. He had already congratulated the Giant's coach. Not to mention they added the one second back to the clock after it had run down. Doesn't sound like he was being a poor looser, only pragmatic, which he is.

Yes, the coaches hugged (I believe they are friends and have great respect for one another), but the simple fact of the matter is Billy walked off the field and left his team behind....I don't care if there was 1 second put back on the clock or 1 minute. You DON'T leave your team behind...

The captain goes down with the ship - Billy jumped on the lifeboat.

The Giants win!!!!!!

Tom and Bill may be having a free trip to washington to testify about the "cheating" if some politicos have there way. Aparently digging back to other pats superbowl wins.

I would call that Karma 1 Pats 0

Thats a great lesson to teach kids, cheaters never win in the end no matter how well they do before that.

Thats not being a bad sport, thats just how it is

If I were a Pats fan I would just start planning for next year instead of defending this potential mess and hope it all goes away

Congrats to the Giants, they played an awesome game and deserved the win. I am a Pat's fan and never for one minute thought that this would be a blow out. I thought it would be a three point game, I had just hoped it would be in our favor. ;) Maybe some of you Patriots bashers could have some sympathy for kids, like my son, who was totally devastated by this loss.

So when Brady said something to the fact that Burress should have the Pats scoring more than 17 points, that wasn't cocky?
You know...I knew that comment would come back to bite him in that cute little behind. Man, if a player is confident, it's trash talk? Please. That's about the only example you will find of any kind of 'trash talk' coming from NE.
Not at all, just merely pointing out that it is not yet another fabricated example of being over-confident that we were going to win. I'm not saying there were not fans/players that weren't acting that way, but to say we printed up all this stuff to "shove it in others faces and gloat" is just another overembellishment.
Have to agree......
All printers have the presses ready to go....with many items all ready done. It's not 'in your face'...it's just business being done. You surely can't blame that on the Patriots or their fans.

I'm glad the Giants won. I got sooooo sick of hearing about the Patriots all year from the media. They sure shut the talking heads up! :rotfl:
From our vantage point, the media was not kind throughout the year. There were many more times when the NE fans turned off the national coverage sound and listened to the game via local radio while watching the tv. Why? Way too much negative stuff. No matter what the Pats came up with, there was always a big 'yeah, but.....' coming from the announcers.
Besides....what the heck is wrong with anyone, media or fan, talking about a team as it marched toward a perfect season? Sheesh..you would think the Pats had raped and pillaged through the heartland of America. They had a perfect regular season. You can't take that away. Yes, it sure would have been nice to win the 'big one', but they didn't. They got their clocks cleaned..pure and simple. Many Pats fans knew this could happen. Heck, we have been underdogs and done the same thing. We're not stupid....only an idiot would dismiss any other team that was good enough to get to the Super Bowl, especially one we had a tough time with just several weeks previously.
Most of us realized that all it would take was for the Pats to have a less than stellar, perfect game while the Giants have a great game, for the tide to turn. Which it did. The Giants defense was a Brady stomping machine..you don't know how it kills me to say that. But, fair is fair. They whopped him but good. Were mistakes made by NE? Sure. And they have a long time to sit and reflect on 'em.
See you all next season.

I'm a Redskins fan now & was a Steeler fan back in the day when "One for the Thumb in '81" was the slogan. I know what it is like to be a fan of a losing team and a winning team, of a "Team of Destiny" and of a team clawing its way to the bottom. I feel for the Pats fans, but frankly I am overjoyed that the Giants won. (Probably the only time I will root for the Giants!)
They deserved to win. At least the game wasn't given away in questionable calls. It was taken away by a team that forgot to listen to all the pundits and all the experts. All the experts who before the game practically anointed the Pats as World Champions.

I got so sick of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman :scared: . I'm glad the Giants refused to go along with the Pats coronation.

agnes!

I have to tell you when the sox won in 04 I was truly happy for the kids and the older folks of boston..this comming from a bleeding pinstripes yanks fan.

Im sorry but the cheaters never win lesson for kids in this case I feel is far more valuable..no disrespect to the fans intended by me

Yeah, eat crow! Cheating, bragging, what have you...The Dolphins are THE ONLY UNDEFEATED team EVER!!!!!
pirate:

Ok, about this cheating thing...what team hasn't? And on to the bragging. You want to know who's bragging now? A Patriots Nation with an 18 - 1 record, the best record in the NFL for this season. When was that undefeated season for the Dolphins? Oh, that's right, 1972. And what were the Dolphins doing Super Bowl Sunday? That's right, they were at home watching the Super Bowl with a 1 - 14 record.

Patriots should be ashamed. Ypu all were bragging and over confident.

The 18-0 season is down the toilet down. All will be remembered is the team didn't go undefended and lost to a team that wasn't suppose to be in the Super Bowl!!!

From a Patriots fan, congrats to the Giants. You guys played a great game. The better team won, plain and simple.

Awwww...Having a bad day I guess. And yes the dolphins of today suck but the undefeated Fins? Well, they're still ours and still the ONLY undefeated team...EVER!!! Just sayin'...:rolleyes1

Slap belicheck on the back and give him a big thumbs up on his way to testifying about his despicable actions.:thumbsup2

I think what really got me and the other Giants fans these past two weeks was when the Pats unveiled their plans for their victory parade on Tuesday...nothing like a little inspiration to get the boys going!

FTR - The Pats had NOTHING to do with it. That was Mayor Menino.

Well sorry, guess everyone else on here who isn't a NE fan isn't as classy as you guys are.

Oh puhleez. I never once said that there weren't some sour apples in New England. In fact I never once uttered the word "classy" There are sour apples everywhere. I'm just tired of the blatant generalizations on this thread, so spare me the flipping eye roll. :sad2:
