Partying June 2011 pre-trip report updated 5/2

We are known to pack a few weeks in advance but never 98 days in advanced! Yup you read right we have started packing! my sister is fully packed! I am almost packed! ( I would be fully packed but since I have a job and pay for my own I get to choose what I want) my brother's clothes are on the way so he is going to be packed soon! My mom and dad are waiting to buy their clothes til may! yes I know we are crazy! But hey there were some sales so we took advantage my mom said we aren't allowed to wear them so that's why they are already packed... Fresh clothes for Disney! But sadly I have no "Disney-ish" clothing to wear at Disney! I'll have to look for some later on when I earn the money I spent back

How do they remember everything XD we stop at the grocery store on the way to Disney so we have nothing in a fridge marked "florida" but at least your packed and won't forget anything

i have a "florida list". we have a plastic tub that most of our stuff that we take, just stays in the tub. we have a bag which has shampoo,tooth paste and brushes etc..., thats all ways restocked when we get home for the next trip. most of the clothes i take are what my wife call my "disney attire" so that stays in the luggage. dw and i both have doubles of eveything so the only thing left to pack is, our pillows, sw. shirts and jeans if its winter time and my wifes make up, thats its. we can leave on a 5 min. notice if we have to. what helps is we are dvc members, we stay at old key west in a one or two bedroom unit pending if our daughter is going, so we have a full size washer and dryer in our unit. when our dd goes, we get a two bedroom which means she gets two queen beds, her own bathroom, own tv,theres a tablr in the room which she turns into her computer desk. its like she has her own hotel room over there. (the kid is spoiled) shes a good kid, works hard at school and dance and work. shes sad, she starts school on aug 26th so she wont be going with us that much anymore. her grand parents have a house in ocean city md, she and 2 friends go down there for 2 weeks in the summer. its funny, these 18 year old girls hang out with the 70 year old grand parents. the place is like animal house! my inlaws sleep till noon and are up till 2-3am. its a riot, im glad she likes hangin with her grand parents.

It really doesn't take me very long to pack, but when I'm excited to get someplace it gives a little extra incentive to get it done... like it will make the trip get here quicker or something.

I think the same thing! it's like if we pack we will leave sooner (it never seems to work though)

We haven't packed anything yet... I haven't even bought luggage yet!
My husband got new luggage a few months ago but I plan to by myself and the kids new bags for this trip.. guess I better get on that soon!!!!!

We will just miss you! Lol take a look online we found a lot of sales for our trip stuff.(we didn't buy luggage but I bought a duffle bag for $15) we got great prices on some summer clothes too

So my step-mom called and said they don't have the money to fly me and my brother and sister down for the funeral, but that my grandma is going to wait for the big ceremony until summer so the whole family can be there <//3 thanks everyone for thinking of us!

Sorry to hear about your grandpa...but I guess it's good that the big ceremony isn't going to be until you can all attend. He must have been very proud to have an amazing granddaughter!

Thanks, I heard he bragged about us which is amazing because he yelled a lot but I still loved him <3
