For your amusement -

These are preliminary winter predictions. Apparently the more finalized predictions come out in Oct. Of course, that doesn’t say what the temp will be on any particular day but overall most of these are showing colder than normal temps in Florida for Dec. ( And massive snow for the mid-Atlantic.)

Hoping this is true but will start after we get back from our vacation at least the snow for our area! I love snow and last year we got like 2 days(months apart) of a little bit of snow.

I feel like it's never going to be 5 o'clock. Is anyone else's Friday afternoon dragging?

Whomp. That sucks.

I'm leaving soon, so at least my weekend is beginning.

the weekend has begun here it is 5:15. But sometimes weekends are so busy I prefer the week. Probably because I am a stay at home mom and enjoy my quiet and relaxing days.

I have a 4S now, but I found someone willing to buy it off me, so the upgrade is only costing me $64 after tax. For that, I couldn't resist upgrading.

That is an awesome deal! I would have done the same. I have a 3 at the moment, well behind haha but fixing to order my 4s next week.

iPhone talk, eh? We really cover everything in this thread.

I ended up preordering one through AT&T when I got to work. I have a 3gs (which used to belong to one of my partners) and it is just the worst lately. I mean, about 1/4 of the time when I open the camera (not a fancy app or anything), the thing just shuts off. Awesome, eh?

Annoying! So far my 3gs has been ok. My daughter had a rare case of expanding battery though .. woke up one morning the back had busted off, screen cracked and the battery was FOUR INCHES THICK  Of course they replaced it free of charge.

Did anyone else sign up to watch the Samantha Brown webcast on AKV? It was a DVC promotion and we have no intention of buying DVC but it was fun to watch. We hooked the laptop to the tv so the whole family could watch.

Yes, I know I'm a dork. ;)

Oh No! I've created a monster. Thought my husband would like the Iphone level - downloaded it for him - he hasn't stopped using it yet. Hopefully he will run out of things to check in the house and move on to Home Depot. :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Its awesome! So glad your hubby has a new toy :goodvibes :p

I watched it on my TV too :) We already have DVC but I love the free lithographs and watching a little bit of Disney. Plus I have always liked Samantha Brown- her job is awesome.

We watched it last night :)

And another reason we are a little nervous about flying this year instead of driving. Our snow usually comes in Jan and Feb so hopefully we will be okay.

Uh oh. You said the "S" word......snow. I do not like hearing snow and flying in the same sentence. Actually we flew to LA to see my sis-in-law a few months ago....that was the first time I had flown since before 9-11. The bloody mary was a prerequisite for the flight. ::yes:: This December trip we'll be leaving StL before 7 am. Is that too early for a cocktail?

It's NEVER too early for a cocktail in an airport! More people should have them... Then maybe everyone wouldn't be so antsy and wound up haha

I wouldn't mind if we were stuck there. ;)

Fortunately, we are coming prior to Christmas and if we get stuck, no biggie! No school to miss!

I did not watch that one yet.....but I did watch a 3 part Holidays at WDW video.....she's so fun to watch......

Mind if I join in? I just finished reading ALL 55 pages of this thread!

We were originally going to go next year in September again (this will be our 2nd trip, we went Sept 2011), but I decided that's too long to wait! So then we bumped it up to February 2013, but I don't want to deal with refurbishments and BTG's and my dream is to go for a Christmas trip one day, so it just made sense to bump it up to this year!! We're soo exicted, our first trip was a surprise for the kids, but this one they know about as they wanted to help plan. We're going Nov.29 - Dec. 9, my birthday is Dec 8 so it's a Bday trip for me! We're staying at SSR again in a 2 bdrm villa, we loved it last time and it's great to just be a boat ride away from DTD, it's a super peaceful relaxing resort.

Here's our plans that I've made so far if anyone's interested:

29 - Arrival
30 - AK - Tusker House 8:00 am
1 - EP - Teppan Edo 1:00 and Biergarten 6:55 pm
2 - BB if it's warm enough, MK or EP if it's not - Turf Club - 6:00 pm
3 - MK - MSEP and Wishes night. - Crystal Palace - 4:40 pm
4 - MK for MVMCP - Kona 10:10 am
5 - DTD/Resort Day - Ohana - 8:15 pm
6 - HS - 50's Primetime - 5:30 pm
7 - MK - Chef Mickeys - 5:10 pm
8 - EP - Akershus - 8:05 am and Coral Reef 12:00 pm
9 - Departure

I'm still playing with ADR's, since we booked just last week I'm not finding everything I'd like. The Ohana res is a bit late for us but I'll take what I can get in order to eat there! I really wanted a CP breakfast before park opening but nothing's available of course. And then there's the elusive Le Cellier lunch which I'm sure is impossible at this point. DH and I are thinking about doing an adults only trip next year though, we may book the BB offer depending on what it is so we'll get a chance to hit up our fav restaurants and some signatures then.

What do you guys think of our plan? It's pretty similar to what we did last year, and it worked well for us.
