I booked two hotel rooms using a passholder discount. The passes will be purchased before our trip but not activated. Do I have to activate them before check-in, or will they allow me to check in and then just show the activated pass sometime before checkout? We are staying at Helios and only doing Epic, but I know I'll have to go over to Studios or IoA to activate....just would prefer not to have to do that prior to check-in because we'll be flying in and will have all our luggage, etc.

Also, does anyone know if I could get the Attractions Assistance Pass taken care of at the same time? I have a case number and IBCCES card, just need to go to guest services but wasn't sure if only guest services at Epic will do one for Epic or if I can get it taken care of at any park.

No, you do not need to have the activated AP at checkin.

I have no experience with AAP so can't help you there.

I activated mine at Portofino, you should be able to do it at the ticket desk in the hotel but honestly I'd hold off on activating unless they ask you. I I have never once been asked to show my AP upon checkin.
