I was adding tasks to ToodleDo for the trip and I didn't have to change the month to set the due dates.Nov 25th (a week before we leave) is my deadline for everything except packing.
So I keep telling myself that after this week, I can totally focus on just Disney. But that's kind of disingenuously ignoring the whole Christmas shopping thing. Normally I start shopping on Nov 1 and finish by Nov 30. Given that we leave on Dec 3rd for two weeks, I was thinking the usual plan would work fine. Except that I do all my shopping online - and I do not want packages arriving while I'm gone. So I realized last night Im going to have to get all the shopping done in the next two weeks. Yikes!
I am right there with you on the Christmas shopping! I want it 100% DONE before we leave on the 10th, and I order stuff online.
Last year I had to ship DH's presents to a coworker's house because it was going to come while we were in Disney. Nothing like asking if you can ship a lightsaber to someone's house.

DH will be home this year since he's not going, but still - I want it DONE!!!

I never use my debit card and that is way more than was in my checking. So the teller called the fraud people and then I talked to the fraud lady. Both said the charges would be taken off, no problem.
I always try and see the bright side (if possible) and I have to confess, the first thing that went through my head were
wow, they were able to spend more in one day than Valgoof ... way to go!! And then I thought it would be hilarious if the teller said "Yes Ma'am, they spent 2k online at the
that was me"

Makes you want your vacation now!! Maybe all these things happen so we appreciate it more when it does come?
Finally, we asked the concierge what to do, and she told us to walk over to the first bust stop at Miller's Landing. Then, we were first on the bus. I'm pretty sure we got to MK an hour later than we wanted to.
