I'm trying to talk dh into detouring to go to the Disney outlet store in Monroe Ohio. I don't think I've convinced him....in fact he just said it would add 3 hours to our trip home (um, no it won't...I have google maps). :lmao: of course my luck the store will have been closed or something. It's ok. I'm about to tell him not to worry because you all have told me about all the great shopping at the Disney store online. :teeth:

So many cute things online!!!!!! :hyper:

ETA: And free shipping today.

Morning everyone!

Morning all,

Things are crazy here. Lots of people looking at our house- real estate agents coming over with little or even no notice which pisses me off! But i have to calm down because I think we are going to have multiple offers. One agent even called me to ask about making an early offer and he hadn't even showed the house to his clients yet!

Now if only we had a house to move into!!!:rotfl:

Hoping this all goes well for you - sounds like it's off to a great start! Let's hope you didn't price your house too low... that's the first thing that we questioned when we had soooo much interest in ours when it went on the market.

So I think I'm feeling that Disney lull too.... I really don't have a strong urge to change ADRs...

So I think after I work out today I'm going to call about getting one PAP so we don't have to do the whole bridging upgrade the moment we get there.... Then we can go get the TiW card and go check in and off to Sanaa! Maybe if I have time I can go after grocery shopping and bridge my ticket to a PAP....

Also still debating La Nouba I am going to talk to DVC about pricing on that as well.... It would be surprise #2 for DH :) also FINALLY got input on the rental car from DH - he debated and debated and his cheaper side won - going for the Full Size from enterprise! I need to go and cancel all my extra car rentals as well....

It's so gloomy out - heavy cloud cover and no wind yet... Stay safe everyone!

This group of words threw me... I was like, "wow, okay, go knock yourself out" then I realized it was Disney speak and not like a real pap... :rotfl2:

happy Monday morning...

Oh and um, we're at 32 DAYS and counting! Wahoo!!!

:rotfl2:I thought the same thing. I mean, we are a chatty group, but I dont need to know everything!! LOL

32 days!! Seriously?? Wow. Are you packed?

47 days here. I have started putting things on top of the suitcase, but nothing has gone in yet.

Yay! Someone else who loves to hop. :)

This is my favorite line---1:30 – 5:00 Tour (Meander Turtle Style – Makes Sissy Happy. Do want to get in Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, Lights Motors Action, Indiana Jones, and the Backlot tour if we can fit it in)
I love how you plan to meander while fitting all of these attractions in. :rotfl:

I love hopping and besides, I have to get my money's worth out of that rental car y'all talked me into getting ::yes::

Umm.........5 or 6 attractions in 3 1/2 hours PLUS the 2 hours after our dinner ADR is meandering to me! Do you know how much I could cram into that time if I planned it full out commando??? And besides, sissy's lucky I remembered to schedule bathroom breaks into the touring plans this time (there might have been a slight meltdown during our April DL trip that went along the lines of my arguing that our half sister, who has no colon anymore due to cancer, couldn't go to the restroom when she needed to because I didn't have it scheduled and it would throw off the rest of the touring plan :rolleyes1)

I will say, I'm glad we're doing the DxDDP this time, but I'm not sure I'll ever do it again. All those TS ADRs really cut into park time! Oh well, we probably need the ADRs for breaks/down time, since I don't have any other rests scheduled, so I guess it works out, and I'm certainly not complaining about getting to try all these different restaurants!

Your plans look awesome! Not much down time, but I hate having down time on vacation, so I like it. I figure: I can relax whenever I want at home, but when I'm out I only have a few days to take in the sights!

Normally I would build in more down time, but we've only got 3 1/2 days of park time AND both sissy and I are educators (sissy's a kinder teacher, my current job is more admin), so we're off work through Jan. 2nd, which means we'll have a long time to recover from going full out for 4 days straight.

Mom is slightly worried we'll be "worthless" for the big family get together on Christmas Eve since our flight leaves at 6 am on the 23rd and we'll have to drive from St. Louis back to Kansas City after our flight lands. She's probably right, but Disney's more important than actually staying awake during Mass on Christmas Eve, right??? :lmao:

Just paid off our balance!:cool1:

HOORAY!!!!!!!!! Congrats on paying of the trip :yay:

Hope everyone is staying safe!!! Prayers for all those effected!!! Yesterday, we went to walmart to get a few things and I found the cutes pair of Minnie fleece lounge pants I am gonna save them for the drive down so I am comfy!

Hi everyone, I hope this is the correct thread to say we're going to WDW for Christmas Dec 17th - 27th!!!

:welcome:

You are truly having a Disney Christmas, lucky you! Welcome to the thread!

Now there are 8 or more pages to go so I'm not sure if this question has been asked yet. I see you are coming from Canada, are you originally from the UK?

Hey, I was all ready to be supportive... but glad I could at least supply the laugh! Plenty more where that came from... LOL

I was thinking "that" definitely isn't on my to-do list before Disney... hahaha

:rotfl2:I thought the same thing. I mean, we are a chatty group, but I dont need to know everything!! LOL

No, I'm soooo not packed! We had a fairly cold weekend here (for us Texans) and I started thinking man, I have zero idea what to take!

However, I am closer to buying some much needed jeans which believe me, has been a very long road! I HATE shopping for jeans! But I think I've finally found some at American Eagle that will do the trick... My problem is anything small enough in the thigh area is usually boxy in the waist. Anywho... jeans are really the only thing I didn't have...

FYI - Old Navy has a very cute Christmas Mickey short-sleeved t-shirt for sale... just sayin' :cool2:

PDD stinks. The only known cure is booking another Disney vacation ;) I'm sure I'll be so busy scrapbooking all the pictures from this trip that the bad PDD won't set in until February or March, but with no summer trip planned (yet), when it does hit I expect it'll be ugly!

I'll be at 7 weeks next Wednesday, but between now and our vacation I've got:
A weekend trip to St. Louis to see Mom & Dad's new condo

TWO musicals in our theater season ticket package (I'd tell y'all to shoot me before I have to sit through Les Mis, but then I'd miss our Disney vacation :lmao:)

I'm betting the next 8 weeks will go fast

Where in STL? I live in north county :). I wish I had gotten tickets for Les Mis....I love that one ....it is long though...and I've only seen it once on stage (at The Muny). I think I will get tickets for Wicked as it'll still be here after we get back from Disney! I think we're 40 days out for our vacation!

Well the Disney outlet settles it... The rest may as well not exist to me! :)

I tried searching for Disney outletswhile we're driving home from Ohio. Where are all the Disney outlets? We're driving up to Chicago on Friday.......

We are leaving Dec 20th..lol..I haven't done much more than book our hotel. We are driving..so no airline tickets to buy. I think I am putting off planning because it just seems very overwhelming. I look at the crowd calendars..don't really understand the tour planning thing..lol. I am very excited to go..just very very overwhelmed.

You can be my personal shopper. Heck, this whole thread can help me shop, since I'm obviously not spending enough time on the Disney Store. Anytime someone wants to go on the Disney Store, they should just go to the men's department and look at options for me to buy! It'll fill y'all's need to spend time on the Disney Store with my lack of time to shop for myself!

P.S. Does y'all's make sense, or did I make that up?

I bought my hubby the grumpy pj pants, a grumpy tshirt, and the olive green thermal grumpy shirt. Do you see a theme here? :lmao:

I'll be doing that soon myself. I just don't want to do it too early and loose (misplace) them.

I have a folder I keep all that stuff in. I just don't know how many I'll need until I know whether to cancel the in-laws room.

We're at 51 days and have a lot of stuff in suitcases already. It'll all have to be re-packed, but as I was putting away capri pants, t-shirts, etc. for the winter, I pulled what I knew we'd want for the trip and shoved it in our suitcases. No sense in having to drag that stuff back up from the basement in less than 2 months!

Hehe not on mine either - only dr appt I need to do before the year end is vision to take advantage of $150 credit for contacts....

I want to find cropped jeans or capris... Mine from early summer are too big and now I can't find them!!! I like gap for jeans and bottoms in general.

I haven't started packing. I need to. Although my daughter is growing out of her clothes and I hope the 2t in the basement aren't too big. We skipped 24 month clothes because the size difference wasn't huge... Trying clothes on her is going to be fun!
