Pandora to open May 27th, 2017

Personal opinion here but unless the tiering fails in some way I would think it's here to stay.

That's a legitimate concern.

If the demand for those rides falls to the level of Everest and Safari, what would be the point? Do one and secure a fourth fastpass for the other. It's not going to get many to spend two days unless they were already going to if the demand isn't there anymore.

That said, AK is a multi-day park for my crew so it's not a huge deal to me, but tiering in general is annoying. It certainly highlights the need for more demanding attractions at Epcot and HS. Here I could see the argument being that they need to spread out the newness. Hopefully, that's relatively temporary.

So if I only pre book one, can I book the extra single after I use the one? That is the only way I see getting both...

I think more or less of what I was saying is I don't think they'll just take away the tiering...introduce tiering for 1 to 2 years just isn't what I'm seeing unless what they figure out is that it doesn't work in AK as it does in Epcot and DHS. I haven't had to deal with FP+ yet but I understand the frustration with it (meaning the tiering system itself).

I agree but didn't want to clikc like because I don't.
 I get you. I don't like it either but I had that inkling this is what they were going to do though I'm a bit surprised they didn't start with more tiering..there was a thread a bit ago where a poll was opened to guess what rides would be tiered and I think a lot of people were thinking ROL would be tiered once Pandora opened up...*this is me knocking on wood though for that part*

If it's a tier 1, the system won't let you book another tier 1, even if it is your 4th pick. Tried that in Epcot and it tells you that you have already had a tier 1 for the day.

That's not true. Once you use your three for the day you can book your 4th from whatever is available.

Didn't work in Epcot this past February. I tried on two different occasions.
I have done it before

From the FP FAQ thread
Only 4th FPs (and beyond) are not subject to tiering limitations. Scheduling less than 3 FPs for a day is not a shortcut to getting additional Group 1 FPs faster.

More like 4 or 5 years--- how long has it been that 7dmt has been running and it runs out of FPP still very early in the booking window... and MK doesn't have tiers...

How long has Peter Pan had the high demand it has?

Last October I got Soarin in the afternoon after I had used Frozen as one of my 3 picks in the morning.

Uggghh....just tried to book fast passes but my reservation is 61 days out :(
What are the chances there will be any fast passes left by tommorow ?
