To my knowledge, I don't think AK has ever had evening EMH. May 29th still only shows morning EMH, but we will see if this is true eventually.

They did, and I actually attended them a couple times.

Possibly as early as mid April. Things aren't set in stone yet because soft openings depend on completion of the entire land.

Yes, at one time AK had evening EMH, it was cool walking around the park at nighttime.

I'm sure they will, but I'm pretty sure none of the animal areas/safari will remain open. I actually think the animal trails close before the park closes right now.

I thought Disney completed some updates to Kilimanjaro Safaris so that they could run safaris at night? Wasn't that part of the plan?

Yes, the safari does run at night but the animal trails do not. Reviews on the night safari are pretty mixed as you often can't see a lot of the animals because its dark.

Yes, the safari does remain open at night during park hours, but the trails to not. My comment was directed for EMH. I don't think Disney will keep the Safari open that late.

Regarding AK at night, Everest is even better at night.

Can't wait for Avatar land! Or Pandora, rather, but the food looks funky! Will be interesting and will definitely give it a shot!

I agree with you. Expedition Everest is my favorite ride at WDW, and the ride goes up another level at night!

I'm really excited for the food! Like Ryno said on the podcast today, it looks like it's going to be a healthier option.

Pandora will be your tier one essentially and the rest of the park is tier 2.

True. Like I said a bit back-- two days to commit to it if you don't want to wait half the day in line.

The sad thing is it shows an increase in tiering as opposed to a attempted reduction. I'm sure all on here were hoping that the increase in attractions would eliminate tiering in DHS... this pretty much paves the road. eventually all the parks will be tiered.....Que- oh, no, MK will never have tiering....

I could see this being a tiered park for a year or two until the newness wears off Pandora.
