Panama Canal Eastbound Sept. 14, 2013--it'll be WONDER-ful

Well that's exciting that you can book Palo/Excursions next week! We have to wait until 6/1. After you've done all your booking, would you mind if we asked you some questions about some of the excursion times that we may be looking into? :flower3:

Ask away! I believe we can start booking on the 17th.

OK, maybe a dumb question--How do we find out what excursions are available for our cruise? I don't think they're out yet, but when they are where do we find them?:confused3 We do get to know before our booking date, I hope.
:flower3:Thanks!

Once you are PIF look at the My Cruise Activities on the my cruises page and the excursions are there.

I would like to hear the Panama Canal talks too - Maybe we can have a 10 AM time set but change it if there is a really great activity - I think as long as we have everyone's cabin number we can send out a text on the wave phones.

Do you show any activities when you log in? We are PIF but it is still not showing anything - we can't book till 6/1, but in the past you could see them and at least add favorites to a plan.

I am paid in full but can't book until 6/1 either. I can't see excursions on our reservation - but if you go to the "port adventure" area (under Cruises/Destinations on the main DCL page) you can see what excursions are generally listed for the PC cruises; in that area, you can "add to favorites." But the problem is that some of the excursions are for longer time periods than we are in port (up towards 2-3 hours longer!). Right now, I'm adding the ones I think we might want to do and I guess when it's time to check in, I'll have to figure out what is available or what isn't. (Or maybe if Denine has time, we can have her post what's new or different.) I've always found this part a little frustrating when trying to book excursions; I like to know the times and what is really available. But it always works out so I should stop worrying:rolleyes1

That sounds good. If they follow the same format we would only be about 15 - 20 minutes later so we might plan on a 10:30 ish time. If the current Panama Canal group posts their Navigators soon we can compare them to see if there is a similar timing or something.

Well, we bit the bullet and are so excited to be joining you all on this cruise! :) Hubby and I will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we couldn't think of a better way to spend it together than on a 14 night Disney Cruise! Woo Hoo....

I see some very familiar names from some of our previous cruises together :) Is there a Fish Extender group as well?

PS Hi MelSpees ;)

Dagny at Small World is amazing!:worship: She had changed us to IGT, but was able to talk DCL into letting us upgrade to OGT! We are sooo happy!:yay:

:welcome: We are so glad you are joining us.

I am in charge of the FE group and will be glad to add you if you wish.
We are in the process of trying to get several things going. We also have a postcard/recipe exchange which gives us a chance to showcase state postcards and recipes all in one.

If you are flying Southwest, check your flight. Both my flights as well as pahrumpgirl's went down this morning.

It won't show anything until the 17th, when we can book. I just looked yesterday. It is kind of frustrating.

I will do what I can as far as posting what is available for port excursions. Are there any special interests?

I will have to tell DH to check our flights. We are booked on FF points.
