Oyster proposal????

Hi all...

Is anyone aware of an area near the Yacht & Beach Club that you can pick out your own Oysters in hopes of finding a pearl???

If this is true, I was thinking of asking Disney to allow me to put an engagement ring in an oyster and have my girlfriend open it....

Any ideas??

There are a few places in WDW where you can do this. My favorite is Japan in Epcot, but it is also available at Y&B and Downtown Disney.

I think you would be able to do that, but the logistics might be a little difficult. They give you tongs to choose your oyster and then they open it with a knife. You could send your girlfriend to get a massage and try to organize it while she's gone. I'd start with someone in Guest Services. Good luck!
