Hey KAW! It could be too late but when we wanted to get the backs off of our LCMHPC's we soaked them for about 30 minutes in h2o (just threw them in a bowl of water...) After we peeled off the backs the chips curled up - but after a day of drying ended up flat. Maybe they cold still be salvaged? If it's truly too late - sorry!

We moved out MHPC advent calendat fromt he fridge to the front of the fireplace - mcuh cooler 'cause its right in the family room where we can see it - 41 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, gotta go finish burning the pancakes!

He was at Citizens bank arena(the new phillies stadium)
Nickelback was the opener...I must say(and I have carefully thought this out) that Nickelback stunk! Couldn't understand a single word they were singing.....at least DD was kept busy when they were talking to the crowd....counting the curses!!
Oh, I hate the cursing. I took my son to a few concerts before he was old enough to go on his own and the "distraction from the cursing" was always the worst. We'd end up looking at each other like  or :guilty: at some point. Now I know the concerts he goes to have "adult content" but try to just tease him about it so he knows I still don't approve. Sometimes, parenting is a huge bother!

My target had nothing but patriotic flip flops left..... :sad2:
Yeah. :( I was at Target three times in as many days and they didn't have squat...pie slice holders and lime green dog toys - and I don't have a dog! (I swear I don't always shop that much, but I needed stuff the first two days and then DH made me go again yesterday. Good thing...I bought more yesterday than the previous two trips combined. New vacation clothes!)

OMG!! I think HMo2's response covers this one nicely, and your DH was hasty, hasty, HASTY. I was thinking the same thing as Va-bear...it could have been a good opportunity for a mass separation of the LGMHPC from their backings. You poor thing!

:grouphug:

Now if we could have just a moment of silence to honor our fallen friends! (Taps playing softly in the background) :guilty:

HMo2, you must be worn out by now and your DS, too. I hope the doc gets this figured out...it's gone on quite long enough. Congrats on your new LGMHPC (you never know, they might they be little reincarnated lime green souls of kaw1218's fallen soldiers?). If you're going to get a furlough from sick duty, that was a nice one!

I have a hunch he is headed to be admitted on Monday if he is still doing this. I'm supposed to call the doc first thing in the morning on Monday to go over his tests. I'm really hoping that tomorrow he starts to do better.

Is he feeling any better this morning? Is it possible he's dehydrated? Keep us posted! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Ooo! If I can convince my daughter to move them from her bedroom door, I really like this idea! I don't know about you guys, but the advent door is actually causing time to seem to slow down a little bit. Waiting between MHPC removal makes a day seem like a week now! That's kind of good, though. I have so many things to wrap up before we go, I'm starting to mildly panic. Sure, I'm practically already packed and have bought everything that needs buying (:cheer2: ), but I also have a syllabus and schedule to finish and send to the printer's, a course web site to set up, and a department letter to write, aside from having to finish grading papers and portfolios for my summer class. UGH! The summer class is a great bunch, so it's much easier than it could be, but hey, it's WORK!!!

I feel better now confessing that I was in Target a "few" times over the weekend too. I really dont go too often - then heard about the 4/ dollar thing and ended up hitting a couple different ones. (On the way to the park today - taking the cubs to see the new bear on exhibit here [he's not related...] - we may stop at a nother one??....)

I DID get a few good things - though nothing LIME :sad2: I did get the VERY LAST white visor - so I mgiht try what Cyn did and write DIS on it - maybe in LIME?! Got a bunch of gel markers and funky scissors the boys can use if we have a rainy afternoon in the room. Oh, and some really cool canteens - maybe we'll have to break those in today when we go see our pal at the park! (It's supposed to feel like something crazy today - 104 , or something like that.....bleh, and VERY humid!)

Duuuude! It was 109 in Redlands yesterday where we were shopping (my DS BURNED his arm on the metal seat belt when we got back into the car), and 111 at my grandma's house a little further into the valley. We were actually congratulating ourselves that it was "only" 104 here at home.

Try to stay cool today,
bear.gif
. You're brave (like us) venturing out into HELL for awhile instead of resigning yourself to being stuck in the house (which, btw, was soooo much nicer once we got back here, lol) Got to admit, though, it was only about 35% humidity. We are going to DIE in FL (have I mentioned that?) I don't love humidity.
