My dress came in on Monday, but between taxes, hospitals and court rooms I haven't had any time to try it on.

Two months, two weeks and two days before we are partying it up in Vegas!!!! I cannot wait!!

court rooms? I've missed something! How is Aerial?

It was a no big deal court matter. I got appointed executor of my brother's estate. I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me.

Aerial is better, still a tad run down but eating which is always a good thing.


I am soooo excited. I know I bought that land, but I've been dreading building. I am sick of being cramped in my apartment and so ready to move. Something has been telling me to talk to Gary about it. So, I say to him, why don't we just look what is out there and maybe we will find a good deal. The town we are moving to is one of the ones't that got the flooding the worst in the hurricane, so a LOT of the town is rebuilding houses, there are houses at all different stages. Well, Gary found this house and told me we needed to go look at it. It's a 2800 sq ft, 5 bedroom 3 bath house. The family lived there for 30 years and the Mom is ready to retire at the beach. Well, they have already redone almost the whole house except the floors and the bathrooms. 5 bedrooms!!!! Everyone can have a room. She wants to sell fast so she is selling it for dirt cheap. I still have enough money to fix it up. This morning my loan was approved and tonight we sign the contract. I'm going to hang on to the land for a little while, but may end up selling it.

Speaking of Juan...........or rather Chippendales in general, on the way home today we stopped at the Rio. In the back parking lot where it's all empty they had a car wash set up as a fundraiser for United Way. It was ongoing until 5:00, and the dancers were taking turns throughout the day washing cars.

When we stopped by it was one of the short haired blond-ish guys (cannot think of his name!) and Jace. I thought of you Marcie when I saw him! lol I knew you'd like to have him wash your car.

Ironically, we'd stopped at a car wash on the way down to the Strip that morning so we passed on the car wash. Maybe another time.


But we had a great day out. The Bellagio conservatory is so pretty right now. I cannot wait to see what it's going to be for summer. We have to go take pics for sure.

And we ate at the new Hard Rock Cafe that is right on the Strip. It was a nice day out, sunny but not too hot so we sat outside. That's also a nice place to go, but I know it gets packed. It would be fun at night and then sit outside and people watch.

Anyway, being out made me more excited for June!! Can't wait to see y'all and hang out with my girlies.

I hate to say it to but I am out for the June trip too.... the business is just to slow this year to justify me going to Vegas 2 months after being there with my husband and friends. I am hoping things will pick up and we will be able to have another meet this fall.
