Day 4:

Today is EMH at MK. We have a ps for Crystal Palace at 9:50.

We rise and shine and just make it to the bus stop at 7:30, just after the MK bus has come by. Oh well. We wait about 10 minutes and here is another one. We arrive at MK just as they are letting resort guests in. We take a few more pictures with characters and some with the Walt and Minnie statue and then we're off!

Our first stop is FantasyLand, since we didn't see much of it on our first day. This time we ride Snow White, Peter Pan and the Teacups. Snow White and Peter Pan are very cute but much too short. I guess they are meant for little ones with short attention spans. Winnie the Pooh is closed for rehab. :( I guess I'll have to catch it next time.
The kids' main objective is to get Dad on the teacups and see if they can make him turn green. They can and do. The three of us love spinning rides but poor DH just cannot tolerate them!

Now they have opened Liberty Square and so we cannot resist another ride on Haunted Mansion. Our 4th this trip so far and we still love it. We are still seeing new things each time we ride.

Now to FrontierLand. Do we have time to squeeze in one ride on Splash Mountain before our ps? It is a walk-on so we decide to chance it. This is such a great ride. So far, we have not gotten wet either time we've ridden. We keep ending up in the back, but that's okay.

After the ride, we hurry to Crystal Palace for our ps. We get there about five minutes late, but no problem. They call our name after about 10 minutes. We had a wonderful breakfast and will definitely come back here. We loved the characters and got some great pictures.

As we leave, we notice people starting to gather at the castle for Cinderella's Surprise Celebration. It's about 20 minutes to show time so we decide that the kids and I will get spots for the show while DH goes to get fp's for Space Mountain. We get right up front. While we are waiting, a CM comes around handing out Mickey stickers to everyone. DH gets back with our fp's and the show starts. We really love getting to see all the characters together in one place; classics like Mickey, Minnie, and Donald, Princesses, and villians. Halfway through the show it starts to sprinkle so the show ends! We are disappointed, but we will try to come back later.

We discuss our day's plans and decide that after Space Mountain, we would hop to MGM, as MK appears to be getting very crowded.

We ride Space Mountain and love it as much as the first time. On the way out of TomorrowLand, we spot Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and can't resist stopping for another photo/autograph session. Okay - now we're really leaving.

We take the monorail to the TTC and then grab a bus to MGM.
As we enter the park, we see street entertainers everywhere so we take our time and watch a few.

We stop at the 5 & 10 so DD can get a Guest of Honor badge made with her name on it. She never finds anything with her name so she is happy to take advantage of the free custom engraving.

Now to check out Indiana Jones. We get a fp but it's two hours away so we go see if we can find Buzz and Woody. We finally find the place and the lines are closing! We never did get their pics or autographs. Maybe next year.

We wander around and find ourselves on New York Avenue (?). I think that is the name. It is the street with the backdrops of the buildings that look so real and all the sounds of the city. This is very cool! DS kept watching for traffic and thinking he was about to be hit by a bus as he crossed the street!

Next, the kids just have to see the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. They are definitely NOT the "cool" teens that they are back home! They had a blast while DH and I sat on a nice soft rock (really, it was!) and rested.

Now we're off to Beauty and the Beast. We get there about 10 minutes before it starts and get great seats. We got a kick out of "Four for a Dollar". They were very entertaining.
We all enjoyed Beauty and the Beast. DS thought they left out too much of the story, but I thought it was really good for a short production.

It is finally time for Indy. DS has really been looking forward to this, as he is a huge fan. He was not disappointed, as he still talks about this show. He would have loved to be one of the extras, but, of course, you have to be 18. Oh well. Just 5 1/2 years!

We grab a fp for Rock N Roller Coaster and go in search of food. We found really good hot dogs on Sunset Blvd. and we eat and people-watch for a while. During this time, a brief rain cools things down a bit. Such a relief! It also thins the crowds considerably.

We rode RNR and loved it. And by now, the crowds have thinned so much, with the rain and people waiting for Fantasmic, that we pretty much spend the rest of the evening alternating between RNR and TOT with little to no waits! What a great night! After taking the last ride of the night on TOT, we wander around the shops, trying to make the night last as long as possible. We finally give it up and head back to CBR. We are all very quiet on the bus, knowing that we have only one more day in WDW.

Tomorrow: EMH at AK and then MK one last time.

Thanks for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews!!!!

We were also at EHM at MK this day from 8-10! We did many of the same rides including HM, PP and Teacups. Maybe you spun by us! :p My DS is 12 and DD 8, we went in a separate cup than them as we did not want the extra spinning;) !

Just an encouragement to say I hope you'll finish your reports! As a fellow Texan, I really enjoy your insights. Yours is one of the reports I check for each morning:)

Thanks for the fun report
When we were at MK our then 8yr old DD spun DH so fast in the teacup that, as she put it, "You couldn't see wether it was the mouse in the middle or the people walking by - everything was just lines of colors!!!"
That was early a.m. and he spent our afternoon at Epcot's world pavillions closing his eyes for all the panoramic movies because he was still dizzy.
