Fantasmic dinner package - where is seating?

Hi! I've tried searching, but no luck. I'm wondering where in the theater the reserved seating is if we get the Fantasmic dinner package? Years ago, it was not optimal - on the side. DH and I will be at DHS in late September on a Thursday. We'll have the dining plan. We haven't seen F! in years, so I would really like a good seat. We also like to minimize out wait times as much as possible. I'm trying to figure out if the package is best for us or not.

I’m pretty sure they moved it to the center section - that’s where it was a couple of years ago. Many people agree, if we’re paying a premium for those seats, they should be great seats, not poor. We sat in dining package seats on the side years ago, too.

I believe they still allow dining package guests in early, and you have to be there before they start letting standby guests in.

No you do not. They request you arrive like 30 mins before the show or something but you can arrive all the way up until close to show start. They keep the area roped off and only allow non-packages in after the show starts.

Last time I did it in Nov packages were seated in a center section and the section next to that in the direction towards the exit.

If you are familiar with the section names....we entered at the Scar sign but walked all the way down to the end which put us at the Sorcerer Mickey sign. They definitely wanted to see our ticket when coming back from the concession stand just 5 minutes before the show started but when we had gotten up the CM gave us a password to say to get by (kinda like she knew our hands would be full when we got back !). We were right in the middle with no obstructions. It was perfect!

One thing to keep in mind is they will open the reserved seating to everyone approximately a 1/2 before showtime. As long as you're sitting prior to that you won't have any issue finding a spot.

They didn't open it the other night, we still had to show our ripped ticket or say the password in order to get back into the section with our concessions at 8:56 with a 9pm show.
