I woke at 8:00 am to very heavy rain. I shower and head to Mara for breakfast to bring back to room.
We decide to go to Epcot because I know many attractions are indoors. Epcot bus just leaving bus stop, so we hop on. We ride Spaceship Earth, The Land Ride, head to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. DS, 8, gets scared, so I walk out with him and DH and DD follow. Raining even harder now!
We take the boat over to Morocco and head to Italy. We decide we're too cold and wet to enjoy anything else, so we hop on the monorail to check out the Contemporary's arcade. We eat a late lunch at the Food and Fun Center and have fun in the arcade. We decide to take the bus back to AK, to catch the AKL bus. It's around 4:20 pm and the AK bus is waiting for us. We stop at the Polynesian to drop a few people off and we're the only ones on the bus. The driver asks us if we're parked at AK because it closes at 5:00 pm and is still pouring!! We tell him we're going to catch the AKL bus. When we get to AK, the driver says he just got a call to pick up AKL guests, so we could just stay on the bus. We stop in the gift shop and then go back to the room to rest. We go to Pizzeria Uno for a late dinner tonight and then come back to the lodge. It is still raining and very chilly so DD and I fill our mugs with hot chocolate and sit around the fire pit in the lobby. What a warm, inviting place!! In bed at midnight.
