Well just got back from shopping up a storm...Mostly for hubby but I did get me a pair $100. shoes for $20.00.

Took me a good 45 mins this morning to chisle the ice of my car. It is so cold here the side of the car are still nice and shinny with ice.

Haley I'm glad your son made it back safe. I was thinking of him this morning when I first came on.

Pumba that stick never came out yet? Poor puppy.

I was thankful the heat/power was out only 3 hours. Could have been worse. It's in the 20's out and it's cold. Why allow your child to be subjected to that? All I'm saying.

I was thankful the kids school had power. At least they'd have heat and power.

My phone wasn't even working.

Yikes! This is not a good time of year to be without power! We too have lost power for short periods of time. I need a generator just for the computer


Pumba- or when the parent KNOW's the child is sick but gives them a dose of Tylenol and brings them anyway. Just after everyone is infected, the 103 fever is back and the provider (me) is pissed beyond reason. THEN, they get bent when I call in sick!


Nab- you can have my Schwanguy. He doesnt give freebies like he used to! (ice cream, lest anyone is confused)

Toot I just missed you this morning. Hannah loves her Baby Alive. She wants more diapers though. I am actually getting used to it and it doesn't look creepy anymore. She is a little mother hen , it is so cute.

Things are weird! There's snow in Texas and we haven't had any at all! No fair!

You can have our cold and snow. Really we don't have to much snow but the ski hills can make more because is so very cold.

They keep changing the forecast for tomorrow... it was going to be a high of 31 but now they are saying high of 27 (which might be a record here).

Our house has no insulation. I can feel a draft. Our 300 year old house in Canada was built much tighter.

hello......Megara is going to be okey......she has a gastrointestinal virus I guess ....and she had one big antibiotic shot and then she has 10 days on pills too....her temp was 104 and a doggie is usually around 101.....so she is a sick puppy.....he said dont worry so much about the stick.....it is probably already passed and I didnt see it ...... after a few days I think then I started to look for it....so almost 80 bucks for a visit to the vet....she is worth every penny .....

How is the cold in Texas .......I have a nephew that lives in El paso I think.....but he is used to NY weather so this is okey to him......he said he misses snow......YUCK

Butch......the thread came from a group of people who were kind, and wanted to share their love for Disney and for FOOD and for Karoke.....or whatever it is.....they are all pretty darn nice....they love newbies too......

Hi Mark! Good to see you here!!

Open mic is for anything you want to do, sing, dance (I remember you do a mean pole dance), general chit chat, whatever. (We might enjoy your occasional sermons too, you do them SO well!). We can just sit around and chit chat too without mic's. (Great concept huh?)

We have sort of a neighborhood bar thing here, I think, except no official owner. So BYOB, whatever you like, pull up a seat and join in! Grammy has her cappucino machine, Dre has the recliner by the coke machine, and I am dang nearly positive UMA has here diet pepsi too.

Horsey thought it was time to close the old Maelstrom thread, so Joe gave us a new home. This is the name we settled on after some brainstorming.
