Actually, last time I tried to install MSN (years ago) it messed up my yahoo messenger, where i had a lot of friends, so i avoide it like the plague once i got it fixed. I might be ready to try again though.

Hey, Marita! We just use messenger, but you can invite lots of people into one conversation. It's a lot quicker than posting or PMing!

Good morning Open Mikers. (from now on OMS) Crap. I have to work today, and it is cold too. Hope I get a parking spot near the court house. At least we have power. It's amazing how thankful I am today for the little things like a coffee maker that works, heat and an iron. Have a great day.

I got serviced by my dear schwans man this past Friday too.....i thought he lost me ....but its cause I was gone when he came I guess......so I got two boxes of the chicken fries...one for me and one for my sister.......her grandkids know the good ones too..rofl.....I also like the little dixie cups of vanilla ice cream.....cause I can have one of those cups in a glass of diet gingerale and its a great snack for 13 carbs....YUMMY.....we used to call it a bellyache soda when I was little...
Hope you are all okey today.....it is cold here too and my little toes are freezing.....guess I had better put on some socks.and shoes...... and do some excercising too

Morning! The Schwan's guy stopped by and I ordered some of their frozen veggies and a few other things to try. Mini chicken tacos, pork riblets (since Mc D's doesn't have McRibs here!) and some other chicken thing.

Hope everything is as good as the ice cream that my DH picked out!!!

Boohoo. Our Schwans man was supposed to come yesterday but I think the ice kept him away. I don't know if he will try today or not.

I really, really, like the frozen bread dough. It's yummo! (Oh, I also like the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches but I can't have any! )

hello.....well I am waiting for our vet to be off their lunch hour ....cause megara has been coughing and trying to barf off and on since seven am......upsets me when she is like this......I also am wondering if it has anything to do with the elusive STICK......scares me ......called hubby too and if he has to he will leave and come home to get her to the vet sooner......yes we do love our doggie..

now about schwans......try those chicken fries.....I put 8 in the microwave sort of in a spiral shape and cook for 1 minute and ten or so seconds.......and they are delicious....it is white chicken meat so not that processed stuff....and the kiddos (yes me too) love it.......i have one rug rat that uses ranch dressing instead of catsup......

Woke up at 6:15 and 15 minutes later we lost power.

Would a place with no heat, and no lights stop you from dropping your kids off there? Just wondering cause they were all like here I got to go to work! Put their coat on if it gets too cold. Bye!

We were without power for 3 hours. It got down to 63 in the house. It was cold.

Alls better now.

you know what used to get me ......the parents would bring the kiddos and say....oh so and so has not barfed in the last 45 minutes so I think she is all done barfing......I roll my eyes on those parents too...and then say.......take the kid home...I feel bad because i know parents have to work but not at my expense.......besides.......when I am sick who takes care of their kids....

got a vet appointment for this pm and hubby is on his way home so we can go......he loves our baby Megara too

I was thankful the heat/power was out only 3 hours. Could have been worse. It's in the 20's out and it's cold. Why allow your child to be subjected to that? All I'm saying.

I was thankful the kids school had power. At least they'd have heat and power.

My phone wasn't even working.

He got on a plane for real this morning and made it back to school.


When I talked to him his bag was still MIA.

That would be really bad, if it is lost. Every bit of clothing except what he had on and a clean shirt in his carryon is in that bag.

So crossing my fingers again.

Also did I mention we have snow? I think I did. We STILL have snow, first time in the 8 years we have been in Austin where the snow lasted into the day. It might even snow some more!!!
