From what I hear

LL at noon lets you grab it for after Dark, the after Dark version starts at 3PM.

Mainly asking if anyone has done LL on Monsters after dark, because it looks to always be out when I check it

Oh, yea that makes sense, they switch it when part goers are allowed in, nice perk if you aren't going to the party!!
But no i can't say i have been able to do that.

Asked this before and asking again. Anyone have a list of whose meeting and where? I don’t handle not being able to know and plan whose out and which lines I need to prioritize. And having it locked for two hours when I know the lines will be already formed isn’t working.

I haven’t been in five years. I don’t know what’s changed.

You can check the App on the nights of events to see where all the trails and characters are

The only character that is hit or miss if they are at the event is the Evil Queen in Hag form, I've seen her on the app/out but you will not know if she is at the event until you go and they update the app

Besides the treat trails the main meeting area's are the Peir next to Toy Story ride Pixar characters) , The WOC viewing area still has the kingdom heart characters, Bruno is inbetween the little mermaid and Grizzy peak, a few villains meet at the fountain in the front of the park and in Hollywood is where Minnie and friends are dressed as the Sanderson sisters

Completely not answering your question but in the 2 previous years we have had good luck with going to Guardians right when mix in time ends and people are getting forced out and riding 2-3 times in a row with almost no wait.

Anyone have suggestions for best time to visit Villain’s Grove? In the past we have went right after the second parade and it was a good time but I heard someone else say the line was at a standstill at that time.

They were out by 6 tonight. So it might be officially be 6:30 by the app. But they were out before then. And yeah people will line up before then.

I will try to compile a character list from the posts I have seen on Social Media so far.

Treat Trail characters start when the trail officially opens or shortly thereafter, that matches my experience from last year. Meet and Greets usually don't start before 6.30, some have been delayed to 7 in the past, the main one being Carthay Circle, probably because that is the last spot where the non-Partyholders will be in.

Treat Trails:

Doofenshmirtz - Disney Junior Building
Oogie Boogie - Disney Animation Building
Hades - Backlot Stage
Ernesto de la Cruz - Hyperion queue area
Yokai - Wharf/San Fransokyo
Madam Mim - that little hideout behind Carthay where they shove 2 Food Booths for Food and Wine in
Judge Doom - behind Soaring
Agatha Harkness - Sanctum on Avengers Campus
Sid - Pixar Pier Bandshell

There's non character lines in the World of Color area and in Carsland, and some stops on Buena Vista Street.

Meetable characters:

Carthay Circle: Pain & Panic, Hook, Hans, Sheriff of Nottingham, possibly Prince John, Old Hag Friends were told there might be surprises. Last year Hercules was out, and later in the night Megara joined him who no one had reported seeing before. I had a pretty spectacular nervous breakdown, she was my character unicorn at that point.

Roaming near Disney junior: Evil Hag from Snow White, I have also seen one lone picture of Pinocchio's Blue Fairy.

Avengers Campus, some roaming, but mainly the picture spot: Scarlet Witch, Thor, Loki (TVA outfit), Black Panther, Spiderman, Star Lord, Black Widow. One lone picture of Mister Knight, he was in his usual picture spot - when you walk out of Campus in the Grizzly River area there is a little alcove like place to the left, end of Spiderman show viewing area. Star Lord is possibly at the Dance Off area.

Next to Monsters Inc. ride, that line will be visible pretty fast: Minnie, Daisy and Clarabelle as the Sandersons

Cars Land: the usual cars in Halloween costumes, I think they wear the same throughout the day

Water Wheel near Grizzly River Rapids: Bruno

World of Color viewing area, down by the water: Kingdom Hearts Mickey, Donald, Goofy. They alternate, but if you are lucky you get a duo pic. I have yet to see all three together.

On Pixar Pier near the Inside Out ride: possibly roaming Toy Story characters, saw 2 pictures of Bo Peep and one of Woody posted with an Oogie Boogie Bash tag.

Pixar Pier (where I can't find a closer description of the spot and that one photo posted looks like the Villains Night event): Lotso

Gazebo on Pixar Pier (near the Carousel): Ember and Wade from Elemental, only seen solo pictures so far, so they may be alternating.

Near Incredicoaster: Frozone and Edna Mode

I think that is it.

If you want to see the Sandersons I personally would get in line no later than 5.30 PM. Well they are probably not officially letting the line form, but there will be tons of people lingering in some sort of "unofficial line". That line never dies down, in fact there have always been reports it was cut off early throughout the last 2 years.

Next popular would be Kingdom Hearts and Bruno, but those can be timed right with parade times.

The Carthay Circle spot gets pretty crowded towards the end of the night.

We didn't want to waste time in line, but if it's not as crazy since they've been there a few years...I'm willing to check them out this time!

Let me doublecheck the time stamps on the photos when I get home. I want to say the whole meet was paused during the parade, but Mickey definitely left because he was in the parade. I would say aim for end of second one, but that most likely won't get you a double.

I think it may be another skip for me this year. We have 3 other park days but only one night of OBB and that's a lot time during the party. I don't mind losing some mix-in time like you said...so we may try lining up early like you did!

Sorry, Internet went crazy last night.

My Goofy photo is 5 minutes after first parade start time, so it looks like I remember wrong and the meet does run throughout the parade, just without Mickey.

Mr Knight... he's a tough one. One clue for him showing up in the past was the amount of fog in the area - high fog meant his appearance was close. But if you can't judge the fog level that so doesn't help you. You can try asking a CM, but they are not always very helpful because Avengers Campus is supposed to be a "working Campus". So they often don't like to give out times and/or locations.

Sandersons: this is from last year and 2022, I have no confirmed info what they are doing this year. My personal experience from last year: it was pot luck. Last time I tried there was some sort of unofficial line that had formed at the left one of the "entry/exit points" because that is where they had let in in the past. Some CMs clearly were not happy, and promptly the other point (which was used as an exit later) was opened to walk in people about 30 minutes before event start. Other nights CMs did not allow people to line up at all, and there was a mass lingering in the area basically. It wasn't pretty, pretty much like the Peter Pan bulls run with strollers and all that.

I am going 9/17. Not sure if anyone is going before me, but I am making a list of questions open before I leave and will try to find out what I can. Please note I am not going to be running around to check when every treat trail opens and stuff like that. But things like "is Mr Knight on some sort of schedule or was that appearance a fluke?", "who comes out first at the Fountain, I want Pain and Panic!" or trying to get length of meet lines into some sort of order I will happily cover.

Character list above has been updated. I completely forgot Sheriff of Nottingham had been on the app for Carthay Fountain, and I now found some Prince John pictures that were tagged with the last party date.
