That's great to hear about Emile! Yay!

I'm not ready for Christmas either. I've done a little online shopping. I haven't even started Christmas cards, which are looking more like New Year's cards if I get around to them?? But we have been having some great Disney fun in between all the therapies and doctor appointments!

Have you made any more Disney plans?

Thoughts and prayers to all.

Tracy, Fabulous news about Emile, Praise God! Rachel received the CD and can't wait to listen to it! I am sorry I haven't been the best PTR sharer!. I know you understand though. Michelle, so happy you are spending so much time at WDW in between all of the medical! I KNOW that helps take the sting out of your busy days! Sandra, great news about your numbers and NOT needing insulin! Piper, I will send my address, I don't think you ever had it actually. Praying you are well! Gail, Thank You for letting everyone know I was sick, Thank Goodness for Elderberry, the cold was virtually gone by Monday; however, the bronchitis and laryngitis linger...Safe travels as your sister arrives today!!! Lisa, Lady I DO remember you live in the town of the Duck Dynasty Phenoms! AND the party you won...why do you think I finally sat down and watched it when I came across it?? YOU!!! They bought your BIL house?!? WOW! Kathy and Judy, welcome back! :woohoo:Erin, Great to have you here!!! Belle, Tonya, Jennie...so gad you are here! Amy, praying Ezra is back to his new "old" self! I am afraid I have missed responding to many of you and I truly hope you know it wasn't intentional! Lisa is making progress towards feeling better, I am afraid it is slow going and will take time..and LOTS of prayer. PLEASE keep them coming, I am comforted to know you are. Christmas WILL be here in a week...Lisa told me last night she would like a Turkey leg when I asked the girls what they felt was the one thing they would like to have to eat that made them feel like it was Christmas. Rachel wants sausage balls. I want spinach dip. The guys don't care, they just want to eat!

We all made it to my nephew's wedding on Saturday night, alas Lisa and I missed both the Victory Junction Gala and Rachel's, Jazz concert and party on Sunday. I should get the good mommy award, Lisa and I lay in my bed and watched SIX hours of non-stop SpongeBob...thank goodness for tlaking to Gail that day, I would have gone mad! To be fair, I was so out of it, I really didn't care SB was on. :lmao: David went with Pete to his work Christmas Party last night. It was at the Bobcats Arena (they won).

I need to run, Lisa has nephrology and neurology appts today and I have labs. Praying for all of the needs spoken and not.:goodvibes:hug:

You snuck in on me! I pray all is well for you too! I would LOVE to see some of the gleam in Lisa's eyes, that is certain! Thank you. :goodvibes

So glad to hear Emile is doing so well Tracy. How old is he now? Glad to hear you and Lisa are doing better too Judy. My dgd has been sick with a cold and ear infection for over a week and the cold just seems to be hanging on for her. I felt lucky I didn't get it after she was here and started complaining about a sore throat. I loaded up on vitamin C and didn't get it. It seems like one of them is always getting something in the winter. I finished my Christmas shopping finally after taking my dad to the doctor yesterday. It was just a follow-up on his dislocated shoulder, which the doctor said was good and he doesn't have to go back. He didn't even want to go to this appointment. Of course when I got there, he told me he fell off his back step shovelling the snow for me. Luckily there was a big pile of snow there and he didn't get hurt. So we shovelled the walk and driveway as it was pretty packed down. He has someone do the front sidewalk so the city doesn't bill him. Looking forward to a nice warm day today in the 30's.
:beach:

Tracy, I am so glad Emile is going home. One of the most difficult things for me to do was to treat Bonnie as a "normal" child. I actually gave her heat rash on her first Christmas because I was dressing her too warmly!!

I was told that she was "tough" because she survived and I had to treat her as any other child her age. I learned to do this (but it was difficult because of medical issues.) I think it was beneficial because when she was in college, she thanked me for "making her do things for herself" .

I just mailed most of my Christmas cards yesterday but still have a few more to go, so they will turn into New Year's cards probably. Hey, we are just spreading the cheer out a little bit longer?

It's great that you are having some Disney fun and enjoying the Christmas season at Disney, I would love to see it some year.

What wonderful news about Emile! That really gave me a smile. I am never ready for Christmas. There is always something I forget to do or get. I guess it's a tradition.:goodvibes

Thoughts and prayers to all.
I know, I am praying so hard that is he released for Christmas but if he isn't I still get to see him, so that is ok.

Traditions are good, maybe forgetting is not the best tradition but this year it won't matter because your family will be safe together in your new house :goodvibes

Have a great early Christmas dinner!

Hi Judy! glad you are starting to feel better.
Turkey Leg for Christmas, yum. Lisa should have been at my big company Christmas party. By the time I got up for food, all they had left were big turkey legs and wings.
My goodness, I can't watch 5 mins of spongeBob let alone 6 hours!
You know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Emile was born Oct 23rd so 8 weeks I guess that it?
Glad you got your Christmas shopping done. And thank goodness your dad wasn't hurt.

Piper, it is difficult when they start out so small and with medical issues.
I know it will be difficult for my sister and brother-in-law, to treat him the same way as their older son. My older nephew was home the next day form the hospital and is a tough little lad, his parents are pretty good with making him do what he can himself.

Judy, I hope you and Lisa are feeling better, sending lots of Prayers and :goodvibes

Tracy, what fantastic news about Emile! He's doing so very well and seems to be growing like a weed!

Christmas seems to have snuck up on me this year too. I didn't even get our Christmas decorations out until this past weekend which is unlike me.

Judy, sending you lots of prayers and hugs...

I hate to hear you're sick. Hope you are feeling better really soon.

It sounds as if Lisa is slowly but surely getting back to her old self. Praying that there will be no setbacks and she continues to improve.

Close your eyes and pretend that I'm speaking in the nasally SpongeBob voice . Wait, how can you read what I'm writing if you have your eyes closed? Just picture me saying this in SpongeBob's voice....Oh my gosh Judy! I can't believe that you had to endure six whole hours of SpongeBob! :faint:
