Once Upon a Birthday-The Invitation
Upon royal decree, you, the reader, are hereby invited to join us, the following players, in a magical birthday celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Hear ye! Hear ye! Let it be known throughout the kingdom that a lavish trip complete with banquets galore and songs aplenty will be enjoyed on behalf of Princess Ms 12th birthday from October 29th-November 5th, 2002.
From distant lands they will gather
From Rochester, New York-
1. The Grand Ma (GM)-our beloved matriarch who will be celebrating her ninth trip to the Kingdom; able to fit hundreds of pounds of snacks in a cooler in a single bound, she spends much of her time baking cookies in the castle kitchen and organizing a family business.
2. Princess Ariel(Ariel)-aunt #1; also on the planning committee; official family shopper for matching T-shirts, leaving behind a career outside our castle as a social worker to visit THE castle for the 6th time.
3. Sir Johnny P(JP)-security guard who is eagerly awaiting his first invite to Mickeyland; family friend who has spent the past ten months in extensive Disney World training by the above culprits.
From Dayton, Ohio...
1. Prince Matthew(Jack)-14 year old royal skateboarder nephew/grandson who cant wait to miss school to visit the World a second time.
2. Princess Moriah(Princess M)-the reason for our engagement! Based on the tradition of our kingdom, princes and princesses must celebrate their 12th birthdays with a magnificent trip to the magical world of Walt Disney. Those who ignore this decree are instantly turned into a pumpkin (oops, thats a different story altogether!) This will be her second trip to WDW.
3. Prince Micah(Harry)-10 year old magician of the court who will be drawn to Mickey ear wizard hats and pin collecting; interested in everything and prone to wanderings, this will be his second trip to Walts Kingdom.
And from Martinsville, Virginia
1. Sir Teach-A-Lot(Uncle T)-high school teacher who loves Halloween and riding Pirates of the Caribbean (POC) as many times as possible; this will be his third trip to WDW but his first as an official pin collector.
2. Great Commander, Princess Snow White, etc.(well, thats me!)-wife, aunt, sister and daughter to all above; DIS-addicted; Spends time as a nurse when not planning a Disney trip. This will be my 5th trip to the kingdom.
