OMG- Zhu Zhu Pets are they the new Cabbage Patch Kids????

There have been many sightings of the 4 new zhu zhu pets showing up in various stores and listings on ebay and CG, so just when I thought my hunting was done (as I was able to get 1 set of each of the 4 for my two girls), now I have to look for the new ones

My girls really want the pink and white one Jilly! And my TRU set still is showing as Special Order:Awaiting Inventory

I heard that they are not even coming out until next year......ebay and many of the stores are pre-selling them so watch out for that. I don't really trust that. I am going to wait to see how much my girls like these hamsters then for brithdays, holidays next year they can get another hamster if needed.

There's actually reports that people have been able to buy them from stores, a lot coming out of Oregon. I wouldn't trust ebay either but there are powersellers with top ratings selling the new ones now, not pre-orders. Actually know of someone who bought a Nugget(new orange one) from ebay.

Just wanted to give the heads up to people that the new ones are indeed here and starting to be shipped in and we will be seeing more and more in the coming weeks. I know that I for one would love to find two pink ones before Christmas Also, the tracking site I am on has the links for the new hamsters ready as soon as the bigger retailers get them, which many are anticipating will be soon.

In anybody finds a new one, please post!

I am also interested in the new items (specifically the pink hamster) so if anyone sees them or knows when they will make it to bigger retailers (TRU, Target, Walmart, etc.) please post!

So if it isn't bad enough people are buying these things up and putting them on ebay....

Yesterday I went to CVS and they guy in front of me bought up a bunch of hamsters that they had behind the counter. The cashier didn't limit him. When it was my turn I asked for two hamsters and for some reason they didn't ring up so the cashier called a manager. The manager fixed the issue and asked if I needed any accessories b/c she had them in the office. I said "yes!" and she hooked me up.

I then went into the Party City that was next to the CVS and they guy who had been in front of me was setting up the hamsters he JUST BOUGHT in CVS to sell in his store!!! (at an inflated price of course!) And he was on the phone with someone telling them to go to the CVS and buy hamsters. I was so bothered by this! I guess it is just "buisiness" but price gouging irritates me!

A friend of mine told me today that she say the hamsters at Hallmark for $16.99.

I was just at Toys R Us. There were lots of accessories, no hamsters. Our store said a limit of 4 per family. I was able to buy 3, by myself. There was the slide, surf sleep dome, adventure ball, hamster mobile / garage, skateboard thing, and another one (can't remember what it's called). I would have liked the funhouse, though.

Just a suggestion........

I went out and bought 4 zhu zhu pets and several different accessories thinking my DD would love them. She saw a video for them and thinks they are creepy I suggest somehow showing the video or commercial to your child if they haven't seen it BEFORE you buy them
