I have 3 hamsters I got a few months ago but no accessories...anyone know the best place to find them?

We went to 6 CVS's in our area tonight...two stores had items, so we are totally excited about that. So be checking...one store did say it was a one time shot, but others say they are continously ordering them to hope to get more in. They had the pieces to the house, but no hamsters.

Hit the Zhu Zhu jackpot @ a CVS this morning I went to 3 just after they opened after I saw the recent posts here..... the first 2-NADA.... the 3rd one... BINGO! The mgr. hadn't put them on the floor yet (glad I asked before leaving).... they were afraid of what kind of chaos might occur if they did.....I got the hamsters for my DD and her BFF as well as some accessories (wheel, car/garage, ramp/slide, bed).... the mgr. was in awe at my excitement!!! Whew!!! Sooooo glad I'm done!!!

I saw this too! Guess DD10 won't be getting any. I already told her a month or so ago that it didn't look good for her getting any. I'll keep looking when out but I won't be waiting in any lines. I can't tell you how many Beanie Babies I still have in my garage!

I figure they'll be all over town after Christmas and she can use her Christmas $ to buy what she wants.

YEAH! Called four CVS's and one had them in stock. They were willing to hold them for me, so I got eight! I left eight more on the shelves so other people could feel the joy, too! They also had accessories!

For those local, this was the one near Airport Road by Gregory's in Allentown.

I've become OCD about these darn things! Now that I think about it I paid an extra $5 for 3 hamsters! If you get them individually they would be $30, not $35. duh. The flip side is I probably would never find them in the store. I was so anxious when I got to my cart, I did not add anything else to avoid shipping charges. double duh. Oh well, I got them. Right now they are "located in inventory" I will feel better when I see a tracking number. If I see anything available again I will be sure to post...I am still hunting for the beds, wheel and ball. But I really think I need to cut myself off!

Darn! Sorry you missed them. It helps if you call the stores and even ask when you get there. I had a hard time finding them in the store and sometimes they have them in the back, too. I hope yo find what you need soon!

I was finally able to get a hamster yesterday. My parents were in TRU yesterday around 11 and asked one of the employees if they had any. He very quietly said they'll be releasing 50 more at 2. So I headed down there and got one

While waiting I heard that TRU is only allowed to release 150 a day and I also heard they are suppose to release another 100 Sunday morning. Somone on another board was told that from her TRU store as well. I might try and get there tomorrow am and see if it's true and see if I'll be able to get a friend for the one I got yesterday

Now I'm trying to figure out if I should cancel my order for the big set. I have all the parts now and I don't need two sets. It seems like they are getting easier to find, but I'm not sure. I also know that they charged me over $11 shipping for my little Lego set that I bought as filler. There isn't any shipping charge showing on the Zhu Zhu invoice. So, in order to get that $11 shipping back, I"d have to return the Lego, right? Or won't they give me that back? I don't want to get totally ripped off for trying to order this Zhu Zhu set! Grrrr...
