ATTQOTD: I used to do them on Sundays, because if we're doing something on the weekend, it's probably going to be on Saturday. But I can't get an early start on Sundays because my grandma and I call my mother, and by the time we're done, it almost time for lunch, so then I have to eat, and then let my food settle, and by the time I can go out and run, it's like 1pm and hot. So Saturdays it is.
And this is actually ideal for my new TCMW Loony training plan; I WFH Mondays and Fridays, so those are my speed interval workout days because home is where the treadmill is. Tuesdays and Thursdays are single-pace runs, so I can do those on the trail next to my office. The only race at Loony that I need to hit a goal pace in is the 10K, because I want to be finished before the 5K starts (there's a grace period to start the 5K late, but I don't want to do that), so having a speed day followed by the long run day every week will be practice for race weekend.
