There is a chance that the orders will be cancelled if the manufacturer doesn't come through. The fact that they don't have them in stock for the preorder scares me. The earlier you ordered it, the better chance you have at getting it. If they cancel the orders again though, i dunno. They did it to ppl who ordered it in August, they could do it again. It would be kinda funny for all those ebayers that sold preorders though

I have to laugh at all those ebayers too! Gets you right for trying to inflate the prices so much!!

Anyone know the answers to this...how can they cancel my order...they confirmed my order. Shouldn't they have been aware of the on order quantities and Cepia would have approved the purchase order to deliver? I guess my concern is that my order may get cancelled because they want to stock the store instead of the confirmed orders online, in which case I would super ticked!

I feel when pre-ordering there is NO guarentee the item will be available to you down the road.... it is just a HOPE really... as long as you get your money refunded other then the disapointment of not recieving the item I think saying you will never shop there again is a little over the top... TRU or other stores are at the mercy of the manufactor and pre-orders are just that its not really the actual order - its not in stock at time of ordering.

I personally feel that though its disapointing TRU does its best and to me it sounds like people are having the best luck with TRU with the Zhu Zhu's - they are giving people the opportunity to get one or two... Other stores like Walmart/Target there is no guarentee

I am sorry but I highly highly doubt any store wout EVER do this - a sale is a sale and they would not cancel orders to have the item in the store... this is how rumors get started... if they have the product available you will recieve it. Also because the items are still on order with the manufactor there are so many reasons and possibilites that the store will not get what they ordered. I am not in the toy industry but we sell wholesale and cant tell you how often we order a specific amount and get a different (lessor) quantity then ordered.

Let's hope they come thru, I have read several places that they will be available Friday and shipments will continue through out December then again I have also read the opposite. It's driving me crazy! I just want a happy child on Christmas morning like everyone else! : )

I hope so too! TRU online is very frustrating. If that set doesn't come I don't have ANY of the accessories

Guess I better start hunting them and buying what I can on BF.

But the ones we just did weren't pre-orders. They were orders from the TRU website that said they were in-stock at the time. That's a little different than a pre-order. IMO.

Let's hope for all our sake that these orders are filled. What gets me is that TRU cancells the preorders, puts them back up for preorder (and they were up on the site for hours) so that who knows how many ordered and got their hopes up. If it were me, you put a small amt up for preorder, fill those orders, then put the rest up on the site. It's safer that way, and nobody gets mad.

Best way to do it in all honesty is NO Pre orders... and everyone for themselves... and let the ebay'ers (sellers) buy away and then have the completely inflated prices etc up... I think its nice they do offer it as there is some hope then... but without it it just means waiting in long lines or hoping you can get your hands on one... Everytime I have done a TRU Pre-order I have recieved my item - I did not do the Zhu Zhu Pre order. And I have not been looking on the site like I know some of you are - every time I have looked all Zhu Zhu items have been out of stock... just like everywhere else...

They are never going to get that amount. They are hoping that people will offer a bit less, and then that is still a huge profit. I don't think people are that stupid to pay so much. They can bid on 20 different auctions, pay shipping on each, and still be under that amount

But I wasn't worry my kids didn't know anything about them. Until the birthday party. Now they both want them and I feel uneducated.

Jilly is the new pink and white hamster that hasn't been released yet. Currently there is the white boy one "Chunk", yellow girl "Pipsqueak", gray girl "Num Nums" and Brown boy "Mr. Squiggles". There's also "Patches" but only as part of a special set. They're not all exactly the same, since they have artificial intelligence that have somewhat different personalities and will make different sound effects depending on which hamster you get. But as far as moving through the house and accessories, then yes they are all the same.
