When I was in college and we needed another bed for a guest we would do a raid on the lounge and steal, I mean relocate a sofa.

Perhaps some of us need to do a commando type raid and "borrow" some of the daybeds at the Yacht Club.....

Who's in for this mission? I'm sure the noodles would love a visit from us during the brief time we are locked in the Bell Services closet before the Police arrive to come and take us away!

IIRC, there are some pretty suite closets at the BC. Or maybe that is just a fantasy. Who remembers?

Ninja Mom....I'm in! I'll put my Agent P hat on and you and me can go all commando on the YC for some daybeds!

I love it here! We would up staying in this room. Seriously, the quiet pool is steps outside our patio and we don't have any landscape en route to it. Each kid gets to take a turn on the rollaway with someone getting it twice.

We are halfway through our Disney Amazing Race (all 4 parks in a day). We did AM EMH at EPCOT, then went to DHS. Half of our family is at the quiet pool (with them there, it's not so quiet!) and the rest of us (the smart ones) are laying on our bed. We're going to AK tonight and then to MK for PM EMH. We are going to be exhausted tonight!

We had our lunch in the Solarium today....just some sandwiches from the Marketplace. It's a lovely room!

Wow - you don't log on for a few days and you end up 20 pages behind I love this thread!
This may well be the least pre-preparation I've done for a trip yet! We leave in just 28 short days but we have been very preoccupied with the potential purchase of our dream home!! It is a lakefront short sale home that we put offer in on in November - yes - last year!! Nothing short about short sales. We JUST heard today that bank is approving with 1 minor glitch we still have to work out but assuming the formal approval comes next week and they want the standard 30 days to close that means closing would be the week we're in Disney so I'm now nervous about needing to extend that. Then there's the little matter of finishing some minor things at our current house in order to put it on the market. But who has time for all of that - i have some serious spreadsheets to finish organizing, color coding, and printing!! No time to waste!!

Is the rollaway large enough for an adult to sleep on?

Yes the rollaway is big enough. And there are two types of daybeds. One isn't large enough IMO for an average sized adult to sleep in and the other type is definitely large enough. There is no way of knowing which type is in which room until you actually walk into the room. Ithink there are pictures posted of both types on page one.

I haven't been there yet this year, but we like to go to York for the day- spend some time at the zoo, lunch at Goldenrod, a little time at the beach.

And just so we are keeping this part of the Beach Club/Yacht Club discussion, my flat Dee picture from the first DIS meet was taken in York, after a visit to the Goldenrod:

and speaking of meets... Don't forget, the 3rd annual BC/YC DIS meet will be in the Solarium on Sunday, 6 PM. Hope some of you who are there this weekend will have a chance to pop in and say hello!

And it had a Grey Goose slushy machine, and a view of the Matthew Mcconaughey/Johnny Depp tree.
