Believe it or not...I was sleeping!!! DH got the whole family up at 3:00AM to watch the meteor shower (VERY COOL, BTW), so the kids and I slept in 'til 10:00AM (completely unheard of for any of US!).

Anyhoo, now I have to go and catch up with my regular chores...I'll be back online soon though. Thanks for holding down the fort Dayna.

Dayna, I wrapped presents last night for 4 hours!!!! I was exhausted by the time my head hit the pillow!!!! (at 11:30pm )

Today, I think I'll wrap a little, but I'm going to work on a few other things first.

It's really hard to check in here on the weekends, with nosy family members around!!!

I didn't even hear anything about the meteor shower!! Darn it!! That would have been neat!!

I check in every once in a while over the weekend, usually because I've got so much going on trying to get ready to go and all, along with my regular-type chores that I do over the weekend. But this afternoon I'm taking a little break and going to see Monsters, Inc. I'll be back later on.

I keep checking the messages, but I'm in packing mode! Only 4 days 14 hours 32 minutes and 30 seconds to touch down in Orlando for me too! Went shopping for camera battery for my camera that DS is going to use and case for my new video camera. Tomorrow evening it's going to AAA to get travelers checks and then finish gathering everything together for packing so I don't forget anything. Oh, and I have to go and pick up an ornament from my area.

Oh...and then there is that "work" thing for 3 more days!! UGH!!! But then we're off and in WDW for 10 wonderful days!!!!

Hi Dayna: I was in mom's mode this weekend. I went with the kids to the mall yesterday, we watched a child's play (that's one of my jobs, I am the jury for a chidlren's play awards, sg like an underage Tony). Today, I had my mom's driver coming up specially to take us to the movie house where they premiered the Harry Potter movie. I was planning to take them to GameWorks and to lunch in Outback (gee, you wouldn't know that I am in Brazil which that description), but soon I hit my sick mode. We ended up in my mom's home, which is considerably closer to the movies house. Later, my kids' dad rescued us and we came home for a pizza (them) and chicken soup (me). I will probably spend a good amount of time in these boards on the next few days, during sick leave (sigh).

LOL! I'm afraid I am a night dweller! I have icky chores and errands to do during the day, but nights are all mine!!! bwahahaha!

Next week is tree and then presents. I am hoping to have lots done before I go so when I get back, all in my happy disney mode, my house is ready for xmas!

LOL! I spent today doing some paperwork, then we put up all the outside Christmas decorations and in a bit I have to finish some more paperwork. (I'm stalling, because I don't want to do it!) You know, pay bills, get deposits together, etc. It's a royal pain having your own business. I get so sick and tired of worrying about the finances for home and store! I have some more Christmas shopping to do this week yet. I have to make sure I use each day to the best advantage. So, I may hit TJ Maxx tomorrow night, then Tuesday &/or Wednesday hit the local collectables shop, Kohls and Marshalls (both brand new stores to the area!) I have to pick up my son from college Tuesday, so I may stop at the mall that's on the way. Thursday I guess I have to take the day off! Friday-shop, shop, shop! Saturday, I'm hitting the annual super craft show. (hopefully, I'll find the perfect ornament!) Sunday's are hard because Bill's home all day and I feel like I need to spend some time with him! AND, MONDAY-PANIC DAY!!!!!!!!: finish up paperwork, packing, laundry! Yikes-it's almost here!! WooHoo!!!!

I spent the day cleaning up the house, and then went to see Monsters, Inc. If you haven't seen it yet, put it on your "must see" list. It is so adorable, and sooooo sweet at the end. :sniffle:

Came home, put up my Mickey ornament tree (Bandit is eyeing it suspiciously), and watched the snow come down.

This week is Thanksgiving with my brother, my niece's wedding, and then back home from the mountains where he lives. Then I go into last-minute panic mode!

We've been doing an early Thanksgiving of sorts this weekend. On Sat. we took the train from CT to NYC to see DH's Mom for the day. We hate to drive because the traffic is awful, but going by train is a really long day. Between the train to Grand Central & the subway to Brooklyn, it's 3 1/2 hrs. each way! We did have a nice day with her, though, & that's important since we won't be making that trip on Thurs.
Then today we took a friend who is handicapped & lives in a nursing home out to dinner & hav Thanksgiving of sorts with him. No turkey - we went to Red Lobster, but he really enjoyed the day.
Thurs. we will be home, packing because we both will have to work on Fri., and we leave for DIS-CON very early Sat AM, so we have to be sure everything is ready. I can hardly wait!

Yep, weekends are BUSY for me too!

Sat 7:00 AM, pick DD up from Choir Lock IN
10:00-12:00 is DD (17) Youth Bowling League
1:30-2:30 is soccer for DFS (8) & DFD (13)
2:00-5:00 was a Bday party for DD's friend from school. Had to take her, drop her off, backtrack 8 miles to pick others from soccer and on BACK to the party for them to join in.
7:00-10:30 DS (13) take to skating

(During all of this day I cooked and baked for my family's Thanksgiving get together today, Sunday.) (Baked ham, sweet potatoes, baked beans, made potato salad, pea salad, banana pudding and two pecan pies.)

Thanksgiving today.

So, this evening has been spent pulling out the suitcases and resuming the final packing.

I go to Mass and do the family thing on Sundays (today we went and saw Harry Potter) so I don't get online much.
