Well I'm like Nemos dad, he is all I really have. He has developemental learning problems speech and such for years and needs to take his Trileptal daily. Of course I have to really badger him about getting his month long worth of homework done....I did buy him one of those wooden cutout puzzles that looks like a helicopter, he really loves those.

OOOOh I can just imagine what it was like back home in Alaska, the majority of people living north of Anchorage descended from Norwegian families from the 30's as a settlement to introduce dairy and farms. So we have a lot of Packer fans. More so Vikings.

I watch the game as well, usually I'm more into NASCAR than football though.

BTW I would rather go just to the water parks than the rest of WDW, I think for my next trip I'll time it so its still cooler off-season and still able to hit both BB and TL.We have nothing of the sort in Alaska and not much sun even in the summer, you could hardly get a tan in summer because it different than being in a lower latitude.

Well I'm gonna try and get some more sleep, had a glass of wine courtesy of this rental homes owner a few minutes ago and hopefully that'll help, seems like I need less and less sleep lately but compared to back home in Alaska it makes sense, during the winter I too tend to hibernate and sleep a lot during the long dark winter months, and in the summer I'm wired 16 hours a day. Thats how i'm beginning to feel, wired and full of energy, I bet I'm gonna stick out in a crowd when I return, everyone else is gonna be pasty white and lethargic, me I'm gonna be tanned and on the move, bummer though I am already thinking about going home and I've got 2 1/2 weeks left, oh well.

Hmmm....glad someone is enjoying our weather. It's just too darn cold for me in the morning. I would rather stay in my flannel pjs huddled under three blankets in bed. Well it off to work for me. Hi Ho Hi Ho! Have a great day everyone and have a glass of wine for me Mr. D!

Suzanne's been busy with non-dates and the such, but I think I actually might have a real date coming up. He's a couple years older than me and teaches kindergarden at a private school. Should have dinner plans sometime this week. He's not married and he doesn't have a girlfriend. It'll be my first real date in five years, so gals you'll need to help me with getting dressed. Hmmm....maybe shopping's in order!

A real date! That's great Suzanne:D How did you meet him?

Was at a friends tonight, scrapbooking. Anyone else do this? I decided to tackle this phenomena. All I can say is it racks up the $$$. And me being foreign to the creative concept...uh oh. I get lots of input, solicited and otherwise.
Yes, I tried CM but I got sooooooo far behind in pictures I gave up. Plus thinking of a different way to lay out each page boggled my mind.

Sometimes I just feel so inept at this whole man-woman thing!!! I think I just tend to make it far too difficult. The truck comes to work at 6am. Each week a different one of us brings a little morning snack. This week I brought some muffins, and stopped at walmart on my way for a carton of OJ. I pulled into the parking lot and realized I was the first one there, except for the head manager (the truck is already there). As I am getting my stuff together and getting out of my car, "work guy" pulls up. So I walk over to where he parked and wait for him to walk the short distance to the store entrance together. Knock on the door to get Head Manager to open it. As soon as he sees that "work guy" and I are together he gets the most mischievious gleam in his eyes and starts chuckling. We all go in, and Head Manager starts playfully punching me in the arm and telling me that I will be hearing about this the rest of the week...asking if I have already moved my toothbrush over to "work guy's" house. I told him that I brushed my teeth at MY OWN HOUSE this morning...thank you very much. He continues to make side comments and mentions to the other manager when she gets in how "work guy" and I arrived "together" this morning. **sigh**

So we were busy stocking on opposite sides of the store today and had no chance to speak to each other at all. In fact the only part of a conversation we had was when we all took a break for my muffins and juice and the assistant manager was mentioning how it is the head Manager's turn next week and "work guy's" turn in 2 weeks. "Work guy" suggests that he bring coconut macaroons, and gives me a sly smile, to which assistant manager readily agrees. We are all getting ready to get back to work and I say to him..."coconut macaroons huh?" "Yes, don't you think that sounds good?" he asks me?? Last week when we went out I had made some comment about how I disliked coconut, and he teased me about it for some time. ;) By quarter to 11 we were all finished and ready to go home...well I was dawdling around trying to wait for "work guy" so that we could talk when we left, but he was busy in the back and was taking awhile, and the Head manager was smirking at me, so I assumed I should just leave the store...thinking I would go outside and wait, but then I realized that I might look silly standing around outside, so I got in my car...about 5 minutes go by, and he hasn't come out yet so I think that now I would be weird for having waited so long in the parking lot, so I decide that I will leave and maybe call him when I get home...I was just making the U-turn out of the parking lot onto the street I needed to take to get home when I see him walking out to his car finally  So I get home, wait about 15 minutes (ample time for him to have gotten home and settled in) and try to call....but alas there is something wrong with his number and the call is not going through!!!!! ARGH! So now I am kicking myself for not just waiting in the parking lot to talk to him like I wanted to do before.

Has anyone come up against this new law!? What a mess! Can't turn around without someone telling me, "can't divulge that information, ma'am (and when did I become ma'am?)".

LOL! Ma'am is something that creeps up on you all of a sudden. Not pleasant!! The first time I heard it, I was mortified. I'm not old enough to be Ma'am!!!

I'm a scrapbooker. Yes, a VERY expensive hobby! I'm not creative either, so this is great. I just take all the adorable things they have available and slap them in the book! :teeth:

I miss darling heart throb today! In the middle of my Economics class this morning, I had a sweet memory of him that gave me butterflies! This is NOT fair! I think of him enough on my own, now he's intruding on my class time. I just want to jump in the van and drive up NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! Geez...I have Algebra homework for tomorrow and Economics for Thursday. Nine essay questions to answer. Oh, joy! Reading for Econ and my computer class. Then throw the disk in my computer and be sure it works for my homework and tests. But I can't concentrate! (What else is new? I didn't concentrate at all last semester! If I had, maybe I would have had A's in those classes instead of B's!) How the heck do people ever find people and marry them?! My rhetorical question for the day. LOL! Sheesh! I want to gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I think I'll go shopping for new shirts.

The quintessential quick fix for any ailment of the heart has got to be shopping!!! That is of course unless you run into one of those days when they have nothing cute in your size, the only one in your size has a broken zipper/stain/hole, or the only thing you absolutely fall-in-love-with-have-to-have is WAYYYYYYY out of the budget!!!

Wish I could go with you Sandy!!! Though God knows I don't need to!! :smooth:

Remember the cute girl at the UPS Store? Well, I got a look at her left hand and it had the dreaded ring on it. *tear*

*** Everyone else can read this except Gina! ***

I don't know why, but I've had a feeling to go after Gina. I guess I can crash into her roof with a plane too. I've never played Evercrack, but I can understand video game addicition. I used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon for 5-6 hours a day. I remember playing Star Trek: Elite Force for 5-6 hours a day for a week until I beat it. I had to use a cheat code at the end to beat it, though. *bad boy*

I wonder if Gina likes roller coasters? I can take her to Six Flags Over Texas and test her out!

*** Gina can continue reading ***

That really stinks..... Who knows maybe she will get a divorce and join us on the DIS:smooth:

Pin Wizard:
Come on now if you didn't have him to distract you every thought you would wish you had someone to distract your every thought:teeth: Maybe it is time for him to come visit you ;) Oh what the heck just go shopping.

As for me I saw cop cutie on Sunday night and he just acted like nothing was wrong....... just picked up where he had left off the last time I saw him...... After bout a half hour he appologized for not calling and said that he had gotten sick over the holidays and time just kinda slipped away but assured me that he would call (OK I will just sit by the phone and wait for it to ring) WHATEVER! We were slammed at the restaurant so I didn't have a ton of time to respond to him the way I would have liked but oh well I am sure he will be there this Sunday.

OMG too funny Doc!!!

Barry, ever heard of this little thing called subtlety??? I don't want to criticize or anything ( :smooth: ), and I definitely do not know all the answers in this strange world we call "dating and relationships" but perhaps if you didn't come across...so...well..."weird and desperate" you might be a bit better off ;) Feel free to PM me for details!! :teacher:

Ugh!!! Sometimes you just have to wonder what is wrong with men??? And what is up with them not calling or keeping in touch? In comparison it makes it seem like women are thinking about the "guy" 24/7 while men are lucky if one thought per week about the "girl" flits through their heads!!

:teeth: Unfortunately, I haven't gone shopping. I thought I better get busy with the homework. Well I got the disk and stuff running for my computer class. That's it. I'll have to force myself to do the rest. Thinking of darling heart throb is soooooooooooo much more interesting!!!

I have to pay the dread bills. Ugh! Will someone decide who I should pay this month! ;) Mr. D this is my night for a good cry. I hate seeing DD's father. ****Warning*****I'm going to whine a little. I've had a headache all day. AT least my classes were good, but then I was giving out conduct cuts left and right today. So that kept them quiet. Went to couseling with DD's father. Counseler was thirty minutes behind. Ex was fourty minutes late. No phone call or nothing. As least I was able to talk with counselor one on one to let some feelings known. He also told me a few things I needed to know. At least he's on my side. Unfortunatly there is only so much that he can do. :( I just wish this whole headache would go away.

Ok...whining session is over. PW....I can feel for you! I've had this one guy on my mind forever. I really am beginning to wish he would leave my head! No matter what I'm doing he's there! AGh! No it's not my date guy though. My date guy is actually a blind date. Never done that before, but I trust this person that's setting us up. We'll see how it goes. No date is set so far, but I'll keep ya'll updated!

Need to go pay those bills now!

Barry Is six flags over texas in houston?

Break a let on that blind date Florida Minnie! (Theater code for good luck, but I think most people know that.)

Speaking of Shopping I hit the sale at CVS and the christmas stuff was 90% off. I bought 18 feet rope lights for $1.30. My sister and I spent 19.00 Half of which was on some neopsporin and a pepsi. The reciepts stated that we had "saved" 119.00.

Hmmmm. Where should I spend my imaginary money?

Hmmm...I think I need some help. I'm listening to a hockey game on the internet b/c it's not on tv. Will someone please help me! :p

Well, you made me feel somewhat better, Suzanne. I'm not the only one sick of the bills! Sometimes I just want to hand my checkbook to someone and say...here, pay them! Other times I want to throw them all up in the air. And other times I want to cry.

Yes, darling heart throb has been on my mind forever also...literally! Since high school! Geez...that's 26 years ago we were seniors. Things are too complicated. But I know I love the guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always have. And I don't see that changing any time soon.

I hope the date works out well. I'll be looking for a detailed report! ;)

Six Flags Over Texas is in Arlington, TX, which is in the northern part of Texas. It's about a 4 hour drive south of Oklahoma City, OK.

LOL, ice hockey is very popular back home (duhh, its Alaska...:p )

And yet after all the years I've lived there I have no desire to see a game or even listen to the play by play on the radio, I guess its when you are so accustomed to events nearby you fail to get enthused, well maybe not for others but there has been numerous occasions where I have lived near some big place, park, show etc (like when I lived in Las Vegas) that it fails to interest me. Do you have streaming video or Realplayer FM? Back home all I have is a dialup where I live cause I'm out away from town in the sticks, here at this rental home I'm using a DSL, big big difference in page loading though I dearly miss my recently demised Toshiba laptop.

you sound a little bit less down in the dumps at least...:)

Today was another Blizzard Beach day, mostly it was lying in the sun, I seem to not sunburn, I was hoping to turn really really dark and hunkish looking:p but anyhow, we picked up some sunscreen for my "Nemos" ears and shoulders, he is so light skinned, we stayed over at Meltaway Bay a lot bobbing on the waves. I lost my locker key somewhere there on the bottom I suppose cause I love swimming underwater. When we went over there I absent mindingly left my prescription glasses on, they have photo gray and titanium frames and here I am wading out to the deep end, LOL, so i ducked under water and swam off the bottom with my glasses on! I bet the lifeguards are laughing at that one at the after work get togethers...

Still hav'nt done those two really high fast slides yet but I went up and down those stairs over and over to the other slides, gave my legs a good workout. We got there earlier today, just after opening, brought a cooler with muffins, drinks and bananas, the muffins got all squished so no more next trip unless I put them in something, the cheeseburgers are tasty there but gave me heartburn later.
The CM was so very nice about us losing our locker key, nwe were able to switch lockers no problem he says, it happens a lot. I was worried someone would find it and get to my wallet, it has easily over $100 in it, I keep my main stash back at the house in the safe. Joey had his birthday today, he is an official Walt Disney "adult" turned 10. I bought him a transformer toy, gawd he is spoiled and its all my fault! I may still do a dinner show with him at either the Poly or WL soon, maybe this weekend.

We have yet to do other stuff like going to the Cape and seeing the shuttle stuff and all but while the weather is good we are gonna have fun at BB, I expect we will tire in a day or so then its time to shift gears. I did get the 14 day 5 park pass so we have yet to go to Wet n Wild which is included.
