Hey Barry,
I went to the fair last weekend when the weather was much nicer. I totally forgot about a meet. Did you wear a rain poncho?

There was no need for ponchos. It sort of sprinkled two drops, but nothing big.

As for the Dragon Wagon, I needed a kid to ride that one, but I rode the Orient Express. It almost broke my ribs during one of the laterals.

Six Flags Astroworld...I thought of going, but I'm seen video of it and the park looks grungy. Oh well...I need the coaster credits. :)

Well, Legs...I thought I would update you on eharmony. Ha! I finished their questions, they let me know about my own profile and what I'm "really" like, but they have NO matches for me in their data base of thousands of people. Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Too much!
500 questions answered and no match? This does not sound promising.

I've put the whole desk together except the drawers!!! I'm reallly tired of screwing;)

Anyone watching the Super Bowl? I may watch the commercials then do stuff while the game is on.:teeth:

LOLOL! You're too funny about that desk, legs. ;) Congrats on getting so much of it done.

Did the sb start yet?

The desk is done!!!!!!!! WoooooooHoooooooo!!!:jumping1:

Congratulations, Legs! Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :jumping1: :jumping1:

PW, the results of the Harmony app only confirm what we already knew....You're One of A Kind!!! :jester:  :sunny:  :Pinkbounc :hyper: princess:

Thanks, Vicki! I'm starting to wonder if that's really a good thing. LOL!

Hang in there Sandy. I've been single (divorced) for 11 1/2 years. It seems like I'll never meet the right one because of course he'll have to be close to perfect (yeah, like that will happen). For years, I devoted all my time to my son. I still am very focused on him (he is now 12) but I also find time for me. As I watch all my friends who are in relationships, sometimes I feel like the lucky one. I enjoy not answering to anyone as to where I'm going, when I'll be home, etc (ok, so my 12 yr old does ask those questions occaisonally).

The best thing you can do is keep busy whether it's with your family, friends or whatever. The more people you're around, the more you'll meet new people. Let your friends know that you're looking for that someone special.

Take care!
Annette

Now, normally I could care less about sports and don't watch any sports but I was waiting for Survivor to start and let me tell you- those last 3 min of the SB were unbelievable!!!!

Thanks, Annette! Your story sounds very similar to mine! And you're in Erie, PA! I was just talking online with a guy in Pittsburgh. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...it's a PA evening! Hanging in there is tough sometimes. Good to "see" you! And I hope you are out of "lurkdom." ;)

Answering all those questions and getting no matches? That must be the craziest or most boring group of folks over at Eharmony.com.

I can't believe we won the Superbowl again! (i can say we because I am from boston, not because I was on the team)

I am sad this year, I didn't see the "I'm going to Disney World" Commercial. I don't think they made it.
Thats the best part. When I win an academy award or an emmy or even a spelling bee I am going to say it. "I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!"

No, they didn't make the "I'm going to Disney World!" commercial this year. They showed the MVP, and the reporter talking to him said something like... Well, here is your new car. I see that you are not going to the happiest place in the world. But you are going to Pebble Beach. And the MVP said, Yes.

That's weird... the local news tonight said that the MVP is going to be in the MK parade tomorrow. When they said that, I thought... hey, where's the "I'm going to Disney World!"?

That is weird. But who knows, maybe, just as soon as he walked off the stage. His agent pulled him aside, and told him he goofed up. Because he seemed to have forgotten that he was going to WDW tomorrow.

All he talked about was going to Pebble Beach and the parade in Boston on Tuesday.

Hi, ekmdisney!! Welcome! Another one out of lurkdom! :teeth:

We haven't heard from Suzanne or Disney845 this weekend. I have a good clue where Disney is. She had a REAL date...ALL weekend! :smooth: Anyone hear from Suzanne? Was she going to WDW?

I don't know where anyone is except Disney 845 ;)

I am at home today. DD6 has fever of 104.2 and threw up on herself, the couch, and the rug:( Poor thing is miserable.
I hope I don't get this. There's no one to take care of me.
Besides I'm supposed to leave for NYC on Fri. morning.

Well, I got 60% of the way through the eHarmony questions then I had to take a break. You get sick of answering all those questions.

I'm so sorry DD6 is sick, Legs! I hope she's much better quickly and you don't get it!

Yes, I also did the e-harmony questions in sections. Ha! Hope you find a match. ;)

Hey! I've got a match at eharmony! :teeth: :Pinkbounc Sounds too good to be true...LOL! "Ben" Why do I always seem to get one syllable named guys in my life? LOL!
