They are the 75 Mickeys in front of the Magic Kingdom. They were made to help celebrate the 75th Birthday of Mickey Mouse (And Minnies too, but someone seems to have forgotten it!) They start off by the boat landings. Then head in past the ticket gates to just under the train station. So some of them you can get up close and personal with for free,and some you have to pay to see close up.

I do belive, if memory serves me right, that they will be at MK until April. Then they will go on tour hitting a few cities, my home town (Atlanta) being one of them. So I will be able to see them agian. Then they will finish off the tour in California at Disneyland. Then they will be auctioned off and the money going to the organizations that the stars who made the Mickeys wants the money to go to. Which is located on the sticker at the base of the Mickey.

The DIS site has all of the Mickeys pictured in the photo gallery. I also thank that they have a small article that talks about the tour.

I was able to see some of them this past Nov, but my camera didn't want to work. I'm taking two cameras on this trip so that I will be able to get pics of them. But the CMs need to watch them a little bit more than they do. Because while we were there the last time, we saw kids trying to climb on them, and there parents didn't do anything about it.

I finished the eHarmony questions. I didn't get a message like Doc received. I got a PW message- no matches at this time. But I guess they do a search every night so things could change.

I wonder if anyone ever gets a match right away on eharmony? It might be a strategy to get you to think how special the first one is when it arrives?

I tried eharmony for a little while, but never had a match that went past the second level of their focused "introductions." It sounds good, and I actually had fun with the questionnaire (but I'm weird like that). Good luck to those of you who are giving it a try.

Taking tomorrow off so can rest. I'm coming down with something and hope to nip it in the butt. Plus need to get some stuff done around the house.

Legs, he's getting some semi-regular visitation. For example he came to pick her up for 1/2 an hour to take to dinner. What' s kind of humorous is that she had to call and talk to me ten minutes about what she did. He has her for the first time this Sunday for an extended amount of time, six hours. Shall be interesting. It'll be interesting for her first overnight visit since when my parents watch her and try to put her to bed (or any other babysitter), she has a difficult time going to bed b/c mommy isn't home. Don't know how it'll go being in a strange house and sharing it with a two year old. I know that's it'll get easier and everything will get better. It's just been one of those weeks when everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. As soon as Brianna goes to bed, I'm taking a nice hot bath to relax!

I've been pretty quiet today, maybe even yesterday. Today was such a frustrating day. One of those days I just wanted to scream. Or cry. Well, I did cry a bit. That was triggered by a song that made me think of darling heart throb. Love stinks!

Oh! The corresponding with the guys online? I found a single parents' site for meeting people. Talked to a few from there. I don't know. One is pretty nice, but I haven't heard from him in a couple days.

That sounds great. I just love dating. That three date guy really whet (sp?) my appetite for dating. Does eHarmony email you when they find a match? Did you post a photo? I had the perfect photo!!! But it is 291 kb and they want no larger than 195 kb. All my photos are too big. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow for NYC so I'll have my friends take a photo of me over the weekend. How do you make sure the photo is no larger than 195 kb????

FLMinnie- eHarmony.com is a website founded by Neil Clark Warren. He is a clinical psychologist and author of books such as "How to know if someone is worth pursuing in two dates or less" You have to answer 500 questions describing who you are and family background and what you are looking for in the other person. Yikes! I had to take breaks. It matches people based on these questions and even suggests not showing your photo right away. It's getting to know who someone is on the inside before you pass judgement on what they look like.
DD's dad was supposed to get her Sunday when her temp was only 100. But he thought she would be better with me, besides he said he was still sick. So I said fine, then he can rest and get better. Then I find out later when he calls me for a guys phone number so he can get in the gate to his develpment, that he is going to a SuperBowl party! The guy I work with was there also and said ex was there with some weird girl. So much for him being sick and needing to rest!

DD seems to be getting better. She ate today and highest temp this afternoon and evening was 100. Thanks for everyones well wishes.

I had a problem with the picture also. I finally e-mailed it to them today. Let them play around and fix it. LOL! Could take a while, but I had problems with it. Match has 2 pics of himself on there. And to me they look like 2 different people!

Ahhhhhhhh...the cost factor. LOL! I joined for one month. Seems that to retrieve your match's info, you have to pay! So...are you going to let this possible great opportunity pass by or pay for a month? Hmmm...didn't take me long to decide.

I wasn't sure how long you could keep going for free or what you got for free. But I had made up my mind after I saw the pricing (is it more or comparable to Match.com?) and before I got started that I would try it for a month.
So when you are in free mode how much info do they give you about your match?
Are you viewing photos of each other right away or waiting until you know more about each other?

And to me they look like 2 different people!

Legs...eharmony let me know there was a match they thought was right. Then go to the website and try to view his info. Then it informs you that you need to pay if you want to basically continue! LOL! Real subtle! Then there's a form with questions for you to answer. They send it to him, he checks it and gets back with them with his form, and then you can see his responses. I'm sure it's more expensive than Match, but I didn't find anyone interesting there!! This guy is interesting! And was born in Norway! Geeeeeeeeeez...no wonder I couldn't find the right one. LOL! His photos are posted already so I got to see them. I see I have an e-mail they received my picture. Haven't opened it yet.

Suzanne...I'm sure they'll come up with something shortly. What do you have going on this week? Did I miss a post somewhere?

Is anyone reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good and want to sell me some math brain cells? I am NOT a math person!!! I'm great at English, but stink at math. I wish it were more equally distributed! Today I withdrew from Algebra. Now, last time around I audited the class so I could sit in it but not take tests. Now I've withdrawn this semester. My mind doesn't work that way! I see myself taking math courses one at a time with NO other classes in order to get through it! Whenever I mention Algebra to my sister she lets me know it was her nightmare also!

Then it was on to the Career Center to meet with someone and figure out what the heck I want to do. Hmmm...Haven't figured that out, just eliminated some stuff I guess. Elementary Ed I decided against because I really can't see me standing there talking ALL DAY! And I need some adult contact in my day!! And I'm not comfortable talking in front of "adults" so high school level and up is out. Ha! The things you realize. So the person in the Career Center had me take a test on the computer. I'm headed in the direction of business, but maybe that's not right!!! Oy! I've always wanted to work somewhere in the Government...Federal. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...she has a book on Government jobs!!! So next week we're doing a different test based on my beliefs, what I'm looking for, what type of company I don't want to work for, IE, my last company. Yikes! The horrible things I found on the internet about them!! I surely don't want to work for a company like that. I also mentioned considering moving to her. She let me know that the College of William and Mary is an excellent school! She's the second person to tell me that. I wish that SOME (ANY ONE) part of life would fall into place!

Men are so visual I thought maybe it was a good idea for a female to have their photo available for the guy to see right away. Like if you delayed them seeing your photo until they got to know you it might scare them away. They might think "What's she hiding?"

NO PW didn't miss a post. Just life keeping me way to busy. Late night Monday with ex in cousneling to resolve visitation schedule. Last night worked late and I felt a sinus infections going on. It's just a bad week. Did my taxes last week and two more lovely forms came in that I completely forgot about, so now I need to go fill out an amended tax form. Like they say when it rains it pours.
