Have fun tonight Legs! Margaritas are my favorite!

"Mars and Venus on a Date" is a fairly good book and I would definitely recommend it - even though some of his stuff seems like game playing to me. It did help me understand in my current relationship why my guy wasn't actually saying the three little words I wanted to hear, even though I was feeling them.

PW, did you get my PM?

Yes, TigerBear. I got it and PM'd you back.

Legs...Have LOTS of fun tonight! Keep your eyes open for interesting men. ;) And thanks for the hugs.

Sk8Mom...No.

Disney845...Congratulations on the "coupledom" and the "crazy about me" part! :smooth:

PW: I wish I could say something to make you feel better.
Just look at your handsome little boy and think about how lucky you are to have him  Make it an early night get some rest and hopefully when you wake up thing will be easier to deal with......

PW, if the VA guy ain't replying, there's always me! :)

Anyway, remember the cute UPS girl? Well, she was bending down to get a package and her butt was sticking up for all to see. I could not stop my eyes from staring at it! She was behind a partition, so she didn't see me unless she has x-ray vision. It should be appealing to me, but it doesn't seem as sexy now I know she's married. What does the Bible say? "Thou shall not covet another's wife?" I hope covet doesn't mean "ogle at her butt!" I read that in a Bible I stole from a hotel. Now I feel guilty because I got to that part. :)

Thanks, Sk8Mom! I'm going to hit the hay in a little bit. Too tired tonight. And puffy eyes don't help.

Barry...That's too sweet! :) Stealing bibles from hotels? :earseek:

Man, I got to send flowers to PW too! I got to work some overtime now. :)

Some people steal towels, some people steal Bibles. Nah, I'm just kidding so I can make a joke. :)

Very disappointed in change of plans. I had my heart set on margaritas and mexican food and the restaurant got switched. So, instead I had Chardonnay wine and smoked salmon and for dinner-pasta with chicken, sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, and spinach. Yum! No interesting men but that's okay. Had fun with friends.
And friend was there that set me up with guy I went on 3 dates with and never called back. She and her fiance agree that one day he will wake up and realize it was a mistake letting me go and he will never again find anyone of such high caliber. That made me feel so good!!! I am invited to her wedding in March. He will also be there. She said to find a date. Where? Go to match.com and say I just say I need a date for a wedding???
Going to NYC Feb 6-8 for work. One of those perks that makes it hard to leave this job. Going with a friend and a co-worker. We're going to see a Broadway show on Fri. I've always wanted to do this. Anyone seen Mama Mia or Movin' Out? I've seen The Lion King down here. Great show!

Legs...there must be something about this three date thing. That's how long it was with my "teacher" guy also. His lost not mine.

Did my taxes last night and hopefully will have refund really shortly here since I did it online. So much easier then doing it with the book.

Just stopping by to say hello to a lot of nice people here. Hope the weekend is a good one for everyone. :wave2:

;) What a nice thought...I won't hold you to it. ;)

LOL! Good one!

LOL! You probably could find someone at match.com to do it! How bad is that? Nope, haven't seen any of those shows, but I would definitely see Movin' Out since I'm a huge Billy Joel fan. :teeth: Have a GREAT time in NYC! Wish I were going! Oh, and if you decide to leave your job, Legs...RECOMMEND ME as your replacement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

Hi, Dan! :wave2: Thanks! And I hope you have a great weekend, too! :teeth:

Hi Dan

I bought the theater tickets yesterday for Mamma Mia. It's in the same theater that Cats played in for years. I love, love, love NYC! It has so much energy.

Has anyone tried eHarmony.com to meet someone of the opposite sex? I believe this is Neil Clark Warren's site. He is a psychologist and author of books such as "How to know if someone is worth pursuing in two dates or less". You have to answer a ton of questions and they use the answers to match you up with someone.

Feeling better PW?

Yes, Legs...feeling better today. Things are improving. :teeth: I have a friend who's wife's friends use eharmony. Don't know what kind of success they have. But I answered their questions the other day. I haven't actually registered though.

Well, I went to the South Florida Fair yesterday. You know, the one that we were planning but no one was interested? I had a pretty good time. It was about $15 to get in and $25 for an armband. They had a pretty good collection of flat rides and the most coasters at a fair. They have 5, but two of them I could only ride if I had a kid. :( All in all, it was a good day.

Hey Barry,
I went to the fair last weekend when the weather was much nicer. I totally forgot about a meet. Did you wear a rain poncho?

Wow! That's an expensive day. Did you have to pay for parking? I seem to remember paying in the past. I'd rather save it for WDW! :teeth: Hope it was a nice day and a great time!

Hey Barry, let me know if you ever make it to Houston and I'll definitely join you at Six Flags Astroworld. The park really does suck, but several coasters are fun (esp. The Texas Tornado - which doesn't always seem to be running). The viper is there too -a small coaster that my ex and I worked REALLY hard to kiss each other during the picture. The picture is one of my good memories, even though we almost took each other's teeth out! The only one I refuse to ride again is the Texas Cyclone - it is so incredibly rough I had the worst headache the last time I road it. When I was younger, I used to love it. :(

Parking is free. DD and I rode the great kiddie dragon coaster :teeth:
This thread is really quiet this weekend! DD is sick today with a cough and fever:( I hope I don't get it. I finally started putting that desk together that's been laying in pieces around my house.

Well, Legs...I thought I would update you on eharmony. Ha! I finished their questions, they let me know about my own profile and what I'm "really" like, but they have NO matches for me in their data base of thousands of people. Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Too much!
