Okay.. If you had to give up one of these "services"..

Ignoring the nail and hair salon choices, I'd absolutely ditch the telephone before Internet or cable television. I barely am willing to have a telephone now. Talking on the telephone sucks. Watching television, and chatting on the Internet are actually fun.

I would love to be able to ditch my phone - I really don't like talking on it.. However, up here we're in a "dead zone" (no cell phone serivce - and I don't have one anyhow), so I have to keep it for emergencies..

Giving up the cable wouldn't be too bad - because I've found there are lots of shows I can catch on the internet - and of course there's always VHS tapes and DVD's..;)

I rarely get my nails or hair done, and I don't have cable, so for me it would be between internet and phone. I'd lose my phone first. I don't really use it anyway except for work, since I stay in touch with people on Facebook. And if work had to get a hold of me, a lot of my coworkers have Facebook on their phones, and could reach me that way.

Unfortunately, my wife is hearing impaired so we need programming that complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and unfortunately, the FCC has seen fit to limit their regulations with regard to compliance with the act to linear television channels delivered over-the-air or through terrestrial or satellite services. They have not seen fit to consider Internet distributors as needing to comply with the Act.

I think I can live without the hair salon. I can't even remember the last time I've been to one.

Well I have a cell phone and a landline... I could certainly do without the landline; the only people who call it are debt collectors and guess what, I STILL don't have any money for you!

After that, it'd be the hair salon. I cut my own hair and colour it when I want to. After that, the nail salon; sometimes I get acrylics put on, but I could technically do that myself if I wanted to.

I couldn't do without internet or satellite tv (we don't have cable here).
