since i was wrong and thought free dining would never  be back any guesses what they might offer for after Sept? like Nov? didn't it last till the end of Oct last time...but then what was offered?

was only offered through the first week of oct. in 2005. don't think anything was offered after that. we were there 1 week too late for free dining last year.

pretty sure there won't be a BIG offer. Maybe some resort discounts for AP holders.

They don't need to offer anything for November. People come anyway. Jersey Week, Super Soap Weekend, Food & Wine Fest, Thanksgiving...there's enough people coming in that time of year that no special incentive is required.

Come on...August and September...there's next to nothing "special" going on at WDW. I think Night of Joy is one weekend in September, but other than that, none of the special events are going on.

Really, this free dining thing is trying to get people to come during PRIME hurricane season. Look at the past 2 years...the time frame this free dining is offered is right when all those big storms hit FL...Disney doesn't want to lose revenue and have their parks and resorts sit empty those 2 months. So people are probably leery about booking August and September and having their vacation ruined if a hurricane comes along.

hmm, i thought last yr free dining was at least through part of food and wine as i remember people using snack credits at food and wine...someone said a cm said for sure it will not be offered then this yr but i was hoping for something, anything! guess i can get an ap if i need to. mousesavers did have promos listed for that time of yr but didn't mention what they were if i recall( or i couldn't find the right page if they listed them)

Yes, Free Dining was offered into October, but not far into it. You had to have a check-in date of the 4th to get the free dining. Even though Disney has never come out and said it, I agree that it probably has something to do with the fact that this is prime hurricane season(this esp. seems to ring true for Sept.) I htink most people thought that we'd never see the free dining again, but I'm guessing that ressies were down for this time period, and Disney decided to throw the free food out there again. We were able to do it last year, but since we're going the end of October this year, I doubt we'll see any discounts....I can only hope.
