We are Disney vets but we've only stayed on property once (in Sept) with the free dining. We decided not to do Bounceback as we wanted to go in Nov. So we're pondering staying onsite & buying DDP. Are we better off getting the 20% off AAA rate off our rooms right now & being forced to book through AAA. Or are we better off ordering a rack rate package with Disney CRO?

We are planning on starting our trip the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. We want to stay at a Value resort & all nights will be value. We'll be getting 3 rooms & splitting the third with my sister & her family. We'll only save $291.60 between the two families for three rooms for 6 nights with the 20% & we won't have control of our own ressies.

Also, we plan on paying in bits & pieces. If we have our entire packages paid for in September & a great deal comes out, will we be able to get all our money back when we cancel the aaa ressie if we can get in on the new deal thru CRO?

Help!!!

I just transferred my reservations that I made with Disney to Dreams Unlimited travel. They will continue to search for discounts after you book, and you can make payments. I was told by one Disney CM that I could make payments, then the next month was told she shouldn't have accepted my payment, because I had booked online, and it created a mess. We were afraid of losing our Christmas ressie, but then found out the ressies could be transferred. Good luck! :goodvibes
