Please take them all out of Florida! The food store was horrendous yesterday! Traffic is abominable!! Making a move is looking even better!

They help keep the economy going, though ;)

Aaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!
They show up right when the beautiful cool weather arrives.
But this area I live in is getting really crowded year round with permanent residents.

DH has been more frustrated than usual with the elderly drivers.
:(
No patience.

If it helps, I have no intention of ever moving to FL, even when I'm old, gray and arthritic. And my family, who I adore, lives there.

Pin Wizard,
Where do you live exactly? The picture in your sig looks exactly like one of the Yu-Gi-Oh players that comes into my store on Sundays...

...and while I'm thinking of it, I'm gonna move to Las Vegas or California in the next 3 years, pixiemomma. I've lived in Florida my entire life, and I don't like it much.

A lot of my sister's former neighbors were snowbirds. They were always yelling at her children. I thought it was odd because you'd look across the parking lotand there would be six Grand Marquis or Buicks with Vermont tags and one lonely mini van with Florida tags.

We get them here in Arizona too. Anywhere that is warm during the winter. I do not blame them:D Here in Yuma they will park there RV on any flat area in the desert. We just learn to stay off the main roads and stay away from any resteraunts offering buffets. They will stay packed.

What the heck are you guys trying to do to me. My DH is down there right now on a job interview! And he said it went well! I'm already freaking out. Arghhhhhhh! Are you telling me we should stay up here????

We could have moved to the Atlanta area where my sister and her family is, but we said no thanks after hearing so many horror stories about the traffic, etc.

Yes! They all seemed to show up last week. The line in the food store was horrendous. They weren't staffed for this! The managers stood there looking as the line wound around and the lady at the very end waved at them. LOL!

LOL! That's an every day thing. Wish it were a seasonal thing!! What worries me are the cars that don't have a driver when you're behind them. Then as you pass them, you see a little old person stretching to see over the steering wheel. I think FL motor vehicles should be testing more often the older people get!

LOL! I think I would be here if my family were here. You must really like it where you are.

Palm Beach County. My son does occasionally go to Books a Million to play on Saturday.

In January I'll be here 15 years. It's pretty here. But I'm in a rut. I'm ready for a change.

Your puppies are sooooooooooooooooooooo cute! Congrats on DH's interview going well. Don't stay where you are. I'm sure things will be fine here. Our traffic is nothing like in Atlanta! We're just used to the summer months when NO ONE is going 15 miles an hour in a 50 zone and like it that way. Now they putz along. ;) But it's nothing like Atlanta.

Don't let their cuteness fool you. They are pure evil. ;)

Those little people that you are talking about. Are they the ones who drive the Lincoln Town Cars?

BTW, while I have all your Flaaaaridians in one place, I have to ask a question.

How are your grocery store check out lines? Are they like Georgia--where everyone in front of you has to have a ten minute discussion about the weather with the check out clerk? Speaking very s-l-o-w-l-y? ;)

Hey, I shouldn't talk. Up here, God forbid you pull out coupons or a checkbook in line. If you turn around you'll see everyone rolling their eyes and making tsking noises. :teeth:
