** OFFICIAL Survivor: Cook Islands Thread ** ‘Survivor’s’ new racial divide

I think it should at least rain on them or something! :rotfl:

Do you think the baby bird survived after the awful fall from the nest and everything? That was hard to watch. Gosh, the nest was practically nothing after being thrown to the ground. I'm surprised it didn't totally collapse when the mama bird got back in it.

I think I read somewhere years ago that they will never choose a place like Africa again. I don't remember why, just that it was difficult for everyone involved, no just the Survivors.

Yea, I guess Africa was just too hard on the CREW. They don't care if the contestants go through h*ll, but don't make the staff & Mark Burnett suffer :rolleyes1 .

agnes!

This season is so boring. Nothing is happening. They basically do the challenge then someone gets voted out. No drama nothing it's like why am I watching the whole show when I could just watch the last minute and not miss anything.

I always find it boring at the beginning.
I think they should try somewhere nice and cold! :santa:
Let them ice fish for a change.

They'll never film Survivor some place cold - the guys need to see the girls in their bikinis! Geez, couldn't Parvarti find a smaller bikini?? :rolleyes1

I agree, this season is starting off kind of blah. They all have plenty of food and water. Last night's vote caught JP off guard, but other than that, there hasn't been too much drama. The whole baby bird thing: what was Coa Boi thinking? I really thought Jonathan was going to cry when he was holding the baby bird. I hope the baby survived!

KristaTX and others.....

I said the very same exact words last night while watching Surivivor with my family. I'm bored of the same-o, same-o beach, obstacle courses, non-showered, dirty looking two teams competing. They need to go somewhere else for a change. Kinda wished they kept the racially divided teams a little longer.

Maybe the next Survivor could take place on Highway 192 outside WDW. Make them survive at one of the run-down, flea bag hotels along there....

think of the horror.....saggy, stained mattresses, threadbare carpet, noisy a/c which only blows warm air, algae-filled swimming pool, eating nothing but fast food...

At tribal council, Jeff could sit behind the bulletproof glass wall in the lobby and interview the contestants via the distorted loudspeaker.

Hey, it would be even more fun to watch them freezing in their skimpy clothes!! :happytv:

Did anyone else hear Jeff tell them that winning immunity would gaurantee them at least one more day in the game?

Me thinks there will be 2 tribal councils next week. :teeth:

They started with 20 members instead of 16 like normal and so that gives the show some flexibility for multiple tribal councils.

:rotfl2: And exile island would be a timeshare presentation or a Priceline hotel with one star!!! :lmao:

And I found it just difficult to watch...they were SO dirty, and hot, didn't they have to get their water from like a sludgy creek that barely had moving water? It was just yucky. And they had to stay in their 'pen' most of the time. I liked several of the contestants on Africa, but was uncomfortable watching that season...

I will say that a lot of the games are getting mighty repetitive lately! Even my 8 year old son says, "Didn't they do this game before a couple times (seasons) ago?"

:confused3 I don't know....this might be crossing the line from "surviving" to "torture"....

I am so proud of the women for sticking together and getting rid of that loaf!

And that's the SECOND time this season!! I think the women will be a quiet force.:thumbsup2

Gee, no comments yet on last night's Survivor! The show is really starting to get boring and predictable. Although last night I really thought they'd vote off Christina rather than Stephanie. But I guess Christina was a harder worker and they figured they could put up with her bossiness.

The immunity challenge was a bit different.

The truth is I am starting to get bored. Same old same old.

I do think there are a few people that could make it interesting once they merge and they are all on their own. Parvati comes to mind. Will she actually be able to lead the women or flirt her way to the top with the guys?
