is the cantina the place to get drinks/food?

Cantina is all drinks. Look at the first page for all the food and beverage options.

There is a 45 minute time limit in the cantina.

Plus, with the ride not having FP those EEMH are a big selling point to staying on site

I’d argue that not having FP makes the EEMH slightly less valuable. One big perk of EMH is there is not FP during that time so the line moves faster. And if they continue to control access to the land to where the line for the falcon stays under 2 hours, that’s really not that bad. It’s listed at 45 minutes right now... on opening day.

Ha! After what I paid for our flights yesterday I need to keep costs down!

Seems like exploring the land for the first hour is the way to go, and hold off on getting in line for the ride until at least an hour has passed. We will have an 8am reservation and have no interest in the droids or lightsabers. Definitely want to get into the Cantina and on the ride as many times as we can, though. And just walk around and explore.

Is there space in the ride to store your lightsaber, droid, bazillion purchases or do you have to get a locker (and therefore may be preferable to ride before you shop)?
