supposedly you are to leave the land but it seemed like the first step is if your color coded braclet is no longer "valid" that you would be able to do any shopping or ride the ride or eat anything, etc. but that if you are there way, way after your time then they will more explicitly tell you to leave

What happens if you queue up for Falcon 30 minutes before your exit time?

that was my question and guess we don't quite know the answer yet.

My guess is there is a point where you have to get past a CM that checks your bracelet and if you get passed that then you can ride, but at some point they will cut you off from getting in line. But no idea if that is just the moment your slot expires or an hour before that or what

Report from our live streamer: he actually arrived last night and was told he couldn't sleep over outside, so he got in line this morning around 3:30am, they were let inside DL at 5am to go to Launch Bay and get their wristbands and shop. They were walked over to GE around 7am, let inside at 7:50. He was very close to the front of the pack, in and out of MFSR in 20 min. The line is 90 min right now and just saw Rey walking around. He's taking a break but will come back live soon

Just watched!

Chewie and Rey are out and about.

yeah, that one live stream I posted they ran into Rey and interacted with her and it seemed pretty cool. Guess everyone is so focused on the Falcon and Cantina that she wasn't mobbed with people or anything

This is going to be very interesting to see how much of these "rules" transfer over to WDW. I know they can't do the reservations per se, but the virtual que would work the same way I suppose? I know its only 1, but it looks so organized that I'm hoping they do in fact do it in WDW.

I think there will have to be some sort of Virtual Queue - I really don't think they will want an 8 hour queue just constantly there ... but I think they will see how Disneyland's works and test and adjust a bit

Virtual queue should work fine. I really don't want reservations unless it's only for the first 3 days. Limiting the capacity to keep the land from feeling crowded is great, but I hate the idea of only getting 1 4 hour block the first few months. Just lower the capacity to a point where the land is still relatively empty and make everyone else queue up. I think it will be a huge difference at WDW just due to the fact that most there are tourist and not locals. The 3 hour EEMHs should negate the need for reservations, and all the locals and non-resort visitors will just have to wait in the virtual queue when they arrive. It will be interesting to see if the land fills to capacity during the EEMH though.
