***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

Seems like exploring the land for the first hour is the way to go, and hold off on getting in line for the ride until at least an hour has passed. We will have an 8am reservation and have no interest in the droids or lightsabers. Definitely want to get into the Cantina and on the ride as many times as we can, though. And just walk around and explore.
This can obviously change on the fly but it sounds like right now if you want to do the Cantina, you should go straight to that first. There just isn't enough space in there and I'm guessing people are maxing out their time in there so it's hard to make out what'll happen for people who wait in line after it's full. Meanwhile, the Falcon wait is shockingly reasonable so far (also can change on the fly).

I’m watching someone’s live feed and the line to make your own light saber is crazy!
As an addendum to my last post, I guess if you want to go into Savi's, you should probably go straight there from the start, and even then, you might have a problem since they only let in 14 people at a time. Curious if Disney will tell people way at the back of that line that it's not worth sticking around if they won't get in within the four hour visit time.

I’d argue that not having FP makes the EEMH slightly less valuable. One big perk of EMH is there is not FP during that time so the line moves faster. And if they continue to control access to the land to where the line for the falcon stays under 2 hours, that’s really not that bad. It’s listed at 45 minutes right now... on opening day.

On a side note, does anyone know how far apart the reservation windows are staggered?

my thought though was that with no FP then there is no "60 + day" booking window benefit of staying on site. So if they do the EEMH only for onsite guests that is a big advantage vs those staying off property. Otherwise there is not advantage to staying onsite with regards to the Falcon ride

We will have our kids and mother in law with us and they won't be into the cantina at all, and will NOT want to wait in line for that, so our plan is to do everything else first, then get into the cantina line as late as they will let us and send kids and MIL back into the rest of the park to do some rides together while my husband and I enjoy some drinks. I am waiting to hear how late you can get in line before the end of the window. If we don't make it to the cantina on our reservation day, no biggie. We will be back numerous times after the reservation period and have hotel reservations over the 4th of July weekend, so we will get there eventually.

On YouTube I’m watching Spokesmayne’s live feed - he’s walking around right now And showing some merchandise. Just ate at one of the quick services and didn’t seem to enjoy the food.

ETA : Chewie is walking around! He’s by him now.

Just talked to Rey!

Falcon down to 25 minutes
Amazing. Gosh I hope it’s similar on 8/29.

So Len’s perspective on Smuggler’s Run sounds pretty similar to Craig’s in that your crew can really make or break the experience. I wonder if in each of their cases people were using auto-pilot. It’s my understanding even on auto you still have to take action but maybe it improves the experience? Of course the most you could do is suggest the rest of your crew use it.

Without a reservation system thats doubtful.

Personally I think they blew this up to such a HUGE proportion that at least ride wise, the above gents dont seem impressed. Based on pics of the land though, its AMAZING. Wonder if more reviews like this come around, this may be the deciding factor if people just wait it out for the second ride at WDW to open before wanting to wait in line at 4:00 a.m.

Food seems sort of hit or miss - some people like it but a fair amount of people seem to not like it so much

Makes me think there will be menu changes in the not too distant future (at least small tweaks if not larger overhauls)

I don't know about that. I think the biggest disappointment really I have seen is blue milk. Ronto's seems to be a hit with most. Docking Bay 7 I haven't seen enough reviews of. Cantina I haven't seen a bad review of yet.
