the big elephant in the room that no one has talked about the MFSR wait times is the lack of fastpass.......the Falcon is not having the expected long lines because it's a fast loader and also because it's not offering fp. If they decide to implement fp to the ride, the standby line will increase significantly, great for people able to get a fp but awful for people that don'tMaybe I'm overthinking this but I am sure I am not alone
Ok, so let's say for argument sake, MF wait has been around 90 minutes even at land capacity. Now let's zoom ahead in time to December 5th, RoTR opens. Unless, they increase land capacity (can they do that?), I would expect the lines at MF to drop significantly and RoTR wait to be "not so bad" (after the initial onslaught). I wouldn't expect the "ride" lines to be split 50/50 but unless they increase land capacity somethings got to give. Right?
Maybe my real question should be: What does capacity mean? Is it a soft limit imposed by Disney to enhance guest experience or is it a hard limit required for safety?
So I’m just thinking out loud but if nothing changes I’m not sure the extra extra magic hours will be extended. Obviously crowds might be a little lower right now with the pending hurricane but I don’t think the crowds are that huge anyways.
November 2nd is the end of extra extra magic hours. When are they scheduled to end? Just thinking they will want something like this (maybe not exact same) for when Rise of the Resistance opens as that could see massive crowds as that is the first one to open (vs Batuu West) - and if there isn't that long between the end of these and open of RotR, maybe just keep it going, at least through the end of the year/holidays?
Selfishly I hope there is still something for onsite guests (even if just an hour or something) when we go in February
As a member of TP they’ve forecasted our mid-Sep trip as low to moderate crowds (2-5’s with the exception of DHS which was understandably higher) for months. I was skeptical to say the least but so far their predictions seem fairly accurate. Hoping they stay that way!!So I’m just thinking out loud but if nothing changes I’m not sure the extra extra magic hours will be extended. I hop ok to post here - saw this video of meeting R2-D2 and BB-8 in GE .... Is this just for opening or is this going to be there long term?
The R2D2 people are taking pictures with us inside the droid depot and you can buy it for $25kI haven’t been there yet but it looks like that setup was for the media day. It looks like R2D2 was also available opening day (29th) for photos in one of the shops but I haven’t seen anything else mentioning it.
Everywhere, literally. At all the ships, by droids and speeders, by the marketplace...i believe some move around
Just a heads up there's no place under the standing tables at all. Only under the sit down tablesWe're taking our kids to Oga's. My 11yo is taller than me, so he'll be fine! And he's excited about it, will want to try the weird jello snack and have an out of this world drink. My 7yo is bringing ear protectors (which make him look like a little pilot, adorable), and he'll probably use my phone under the table the whole time. I hope Oga's has some decent data pad interactivity. LOL
Going back to Batuu tonight for a couple of hours just to play with my datapad![]()
not yet. They are working with LucasFilm to try and design a station for the landIs their a fuelrod location in Batuu?
They opened it up yesterday, so nice to have no dead ends anymore.
