***Official*** Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Information Thread *** Contains SPOILERS ***

Hadn't seen this posted yet but apparently they have changes how the alcoholic blue and green milk are done. During passholder previews it was premixed, but now it is mixed when ordered (liquor is poured in cup, then "milk" poured on top. This seems to change the consistency and flavor a bit (and also apparently appears to be stronger than before)

Ewww. Why didn't Disney just make blue a blue raspberry slushee and green like a dole whip drink? I wonder how many will actually be purchased past the initial hype. Have there actually been repeat customers? Butter beer is like cream soda, people will go back for that. Runny, oily, and separated are never things you want to hear about something you're going to consume 😂

Probably because it is blue 'milk'. So a slushie wouldn't really, in any way, resemble milk. The issue is they didn't want it animal based so that is where it gets complicated. I have seen a LOT of people who actually like it so it is like anything else. Some won't like it and some will.

I can see wanting it to actually resemble milk, but they both seem to get underwhelming reviews.

This is reassuring! Now has anyone enjoyed either variation of green enough to purchase it again?

Guess I’m odd but I liked both milks (alcohol and no alcohol of each) and would gladly get them again, although I liked the blue more. I could see stopping in to SWGE just to get one (if I happen to be in DHS, wouldn’t go to DHS just for it).

I haven't had the courage to try green :D the color is just not appetizing to me, and since it's not cheap I will probably do blue again, stick with what you know sort of thing. But if I ever go with someone that gets the green I'll try it

My mom is going to get blue and I am going to get green so that way we can taste each other's. We are hoping that at least one of us will like either colour so we won't waste the money lol

Honestly I have been watching a lot of YouTube (because I am addicted). I haven't seen the slimy oily comments on YouTube. I HAVE seen where the majority of people trying the milk like one or the other. It is surprising how people like either the green or blue. I haven't really seen someone being underwhelmed by both. Now with that said I haven't seen too many of the versions with booze in them being tasted on there. I have seen a LOT of videos with random people trying the milk and I can say I have only seen one, maybe two, that haven't liked either but I have watched maybe 30 people try it. So maybe it isn't as bad as the 'reviews' you are seeing are leading on to make them be.

I was reluctant to try either version when I was at Batuu West (aka Disneyland) during the D23 Expo. My reluctance is because coconut milk is used as part of the base. I ended up trying both of them. I asked if you could taste the coconut milk in the drinks and the CMs said you couldn't. They also described the green one is more citrus like and the blue has more dragon fruit flavor. Overall, I liked the green better. The citrus profile was more to my taste. I was unable to tell that there was coconut milk in the drink, so I was really happy that I did not waste $ on something I would have hated immediately. I have not tried the alcohol versions yet. Plan on doing that in October when I see Batuu East (aka DHS).

Well I have a strong dislike for them both, to put it lightly. And most of those I’ve spoken with wouldn’t order either again. Although most seemed more turned off by green.

I just saw on a site that you shouldn’t bring kids to Oga’s. Is this true? Anyone have experience bringing kids in?

The main issue is it is crowded and most likely they won’t have a place to sit. In addition the tables are pretty tall so if they have a drink there is a high likelihood they won’t be able to reach their drink on the table. That and that it is just mainly serving drinks and bar food.

DS is 10 and only an inch or two shorter than me. If he can’t reach the table than I probably can’t either and I’m not that short. I don’t think. If that is the problem hopefully we’ll be fine to go in enjoy one non alcoholic drink and leave. But if there’s been no kids in there so far and/or they weren’t letting them in I would cancel my reservation. 👍🏻

Yeah, it’s “club” loud in my opinion. Some kids will love it. Some kids will not. The music is pretty fun and lively.

I was struck at how relatively small the place is, so there’s no getting away from the noise and bar vibe.

That being said, I would have no problem bringing my 9 and 5 year olds there. Probably wouldn’t stay all that long (especially if we were at a high top), but for a bit, sure.

In addition to what has been mentioned, it may be important to know that there are no restrooms in Ogas. If it becomes “potty” time, you’ll have to leave and use the restrooms outside of Ogas. Just another SWGE design flaw.

There definitely are kids of all ages in Oga’s. On our first visit, we were in line behind a party of 12 including 3 kids in strollers.

This week we saw a family who sat their 3 year-old kid on the high tabletop...inappropriate - gross - unsanitary in a place where food and drinks are served. ☹️
