***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

One month until arrival at Disney! Just was able to customize the Magic Bands online, so super excited about that. Can't make Fastpass+ selections yet though. :sad1:

Check against the fast pass +, If you were able to order magic bands you should be able do utilize the fast pass + service.. I was actually able to set up the fast pass the night before my magic bands were available
 
They are not available for November yet. They just released for October on the weekend.

What is not available for November? I am booked for November and I have everything planned already, including ordering magic bands and FP+....

Tickets are in hand and linked. Don't know why the fastpass+ isn't working for me. All I get is the popup window when I click on it describing the system. Does it have to do with the fact that I have paper tickets and not the new cards tickets?

Hi everyone! We are heading to Disney on Nov 9, staying until the 16th. We're staying offsite at Bonnet Creek. So excited! I've been many times, but it's the first trip with my husband and kids. :)

OH I think you might be doing what I did.
There is a Fass Pass + thing that does that pop up and describe, but there is another button on the right.

Log into My experience. don't just hover over it.
The hover gives you both a left and right column and I was dah and I was clicking on the left column. Hope that is the error you are making like I did at first.

But of course now I'm having another issue. All of my tickets are linked and it shows up on My Reservations but when I go to make FastPass selections next to my name it says "Needs Valid Theme Park Admission." But my ticket is linked and it says so in my reservation screen. So frustrating.

Are you using the actual web page on a laptop or desktop? The apps are notoriously buggy.

AND sometimes there is a problem depending on which browser you are using.
I haven't had the problem as much with Disney site as other sites.
I have to use internet explorer instead of Crome. But Disney has let me use Crome. Just saying.

But I agree you might want to try from a laptop. Especially if you can see the FP+ stuff now and your link to your tickets.
 
Just thought of something based on the previous conversation.

Was anyone able to get FP+ during the MVMCP times?
I didn't try but was wondering. Especially since you can't link those tickets.
 
I'm hearing many ppl talking about customizing your magic bands. How do you know you've got them. In mde mine says magic bands and cards. Click on that and it's our linked APs. Nothing prompting us to customize magic bands. There are also 5 others in our group, but they don't have APs or park tickets yet since they'll be getting Military tix. We're checking in on Nov 10 staying at OKW. Any info would help. Thanks. :)

I spoke to IT customer service yesterday bc mine finally said I had magic bands and they were shipped but I couldn't customize. They said to wait for an email inviting you to customize the bands (and that vacation dates in November hadn't been mailed ... We are going in nov). She also said that the BOG fast pass is invite only and non-transferable (and mst likely to show up for those at the monorail resorts.) She said the computer is doing weird things as far as stuff showing up , then not, due to them trying to work out the kinks. Hope that helps:)
 
Not sure this is the place to ask, but trying to get details ironed out for mid- November trip. We've never done the world showcase at Epcot and excited to so this trip. Wht do you do with the passports? And, are the ones you buy there nice or is it better to print your own from one of the creative forums? And, what the heck is a journaling card? I've searched other forums and just end up with more questions! Thank everyone!

I would call IT. I know the number was floating around somewhere. The second I find it, I will add it to the second post.

The passports are for sale in any one of the stores and you can get them stamped in each of the pavilions. There are some people that print passports and I'm sure you can get ideas on the DISigns boards, but that is WAY to much work for me. lol (heck, I buy the autograph books!) I have never heard of a journaling card, but that sounds like someone is keeping tabs of all their activities throughout the day as (1) a keepsake and/or (2) to remind them what they did so they can do a trip report. I use pictures to help remind me what I did throughout the day. I think last trip we had over 1000 photos.
