***Official November 2013 - Part II*** (that's right....we're that popular!)

My recommendation, being one who feels sick just thinking about riding ToT, close your eyes and focus on breathing! :scared1: Although, I rode once when someone had a bucket of popcorn with them, that was funny. :rotfl: But in no way am I able to look out the 'doors' at the park below. :faint: :crazy2:

My Disney vacation buddy and I have a deal. Every other year I will ride ToT and she will ride Mission:Space, orange. The sacrifices we endure for others entertainment! :scared:

Well we're not normally one's for any of the scary rides but I thought this time I've got to do one ride in each park that I'm scared of - just to say I've at least done it once - crazy right!? :rotfl: The popcorn must have been sooo funny!!

I know we will! We aren't going to MVMCP. We went to MNSSHP back in 2010 and it wasn't worth the money to us. We have no desire to wait in lines to see characters and although the fireworks and parades are cool, they aren't worth the extra money to me. I do wish I could see the snow on Main Street though. We are using the money we would have spent on tickets towards 1 day/1 park tickets at Universal. We are ginormous Harry Potter fans.

You HAVE to try ToT, it is such a well done ride. It blows away all other drop rides. Because of the type of seating it has it is MUCH smoother than other drop rides.

I love the snow on Main Street too :goodvibes I can't wait to see the Harry Potter section at Universal and have my first Butter Beer!

Are you going for the frozen kind or the regular kind? I'm so excited that I keep announcing to my kids what the wait time for The Forbidden Journey is at the current time - 20 minutes right now - wish I was there!

I guess I will have to settle for snow on the streets of America since I won't be at MVMCP. Hope I don't regret not going.

Not sure which to get - what do you recommend? Ooo I love the idea of announcing the wait times, will have to get the app for my phone and then annoy my husband with it :lmao:

I'm sure you'll have a great time at the party, but I don't understand something. How many days are your original tickets for that buying the party tickets is cheaper than adding another day? I get it if you only have 1 or 2 day base tickets, but if you have 3 or more day base tickets it is definitely cheaper to add on days.

We have just 2 day base tickets. Plus I told dh that it was soo much cheaper to do this way so I could go to the party, sshhh, don't tell him.:)

If you fly SW, there is a good chance it will not cost extra, if the price of a ticket for your flight is still the same. Any other airline though, unless you a platinum super-duper special mileage member, plan on paying for the change. I've had some airlines charge me a change fee AND additional cost of the ticket. :furious:

Aw man! I sort of had that feeling.
We hmm'd and haw'd between SW and Spirit and went with Spirit because it was a total of $112 cheaper even including the luggage variables. I'm totally kicking myself now.

SW from now on!

...lol

I have a feeling I totally missed something here. Maybe Jersey Week isn't what I think it is? Ahahaha!

Right now you only have to do that at AK, the cards are working at the other 3 parks to pull fast passes even when using the MB's to enter. The AK thing MAY be a glitch. I've been watching the threads so if I notice a change I'll post it here. I have a couple of friends going for Jersey week so I'm trying to keep up to let them know the changes because they don't know about any of this. Remember, that you can always enter the park with one form, and walk out an reenter with another form and then you don't have to worry ;-) I don't want to bother doing that though unless I HAVE to.

Awesome. Thanks!

LOL it's ok! "Jersey Week" describes the week at WDW when a good amount of people from New Jersey go there ( a lot of parents and kids have off because of teacher conventions). It doesn't mean they are going to New Jersey. (I live in NJ, that's why I thought it was funny!) I had to learn all the terms too!! ;)

I don't think most people in NJ have any idea that WDW has a week dedicated to them!

I grew up in PA and never knew what Jersey Week was until my oldest was in preschool. Other parents in school were asking me if I was going to WDW; all I knew was that he had a few days off for the statewide teachers' convention. Then they told me that the public schools in our town, and many towns, give kids off the whole week, so lots of families take the opportunity to go to WDW.

So when I did the podcast on countdowns, we brainstormed a bunch of different ideas, particularly ones for adults. DSis is an amateur mixologist so she suggested a cocktail countdown. We can of ran with the idea so we're putting it up on a blog.

The Drunken Mouse - 31 Days of Disney Cocktails

We start counting down tomorrow (Oct 1). She includes recipes and tips so everyone can play along.

Yes we do!!! :p

I knew about "Jersey Week" before I'd heard of these boards. Originally was going to go that week (so my SIL and her family could join us) but couldn't book our awards miles that week. Worked out for the best as SIL and family couldn't go this year.

I have a question for FigmentChick... since I know you're going down with a CM friends & family discount. This is the first time I'm using this kind of discount. Will I still get the cherished "Mickey Mail"?

Woot! 34 days to go and my DME tags arrived!! The only question left is the CM F&F Dining!
