Hi
I am so excited because we are arriving on the 14th, going to MNSSHP, and its my birthday!! Does it get any better? Oh yea, free dining!!!!!!

Quick question. Looks like on Halloween week, the Monday party is gone... :( I want to go 2 times, so Halloween is a definite.

So my question is which day would be better to pick.... Sunday or Tuesday?

Thanks!

I am planning on going to the Halloween party on the 21st after having a late lunch at Kona's.

We have never been before and I was thinking that the first party would be crowded.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!!

Yes, it's me again... your "slightly annoying" shadow   We're going on the 14th so I will post to let you and the TFW's know how the 1st party is.

Total party newbie questions...

1. Have 2007 tickets gone on sale yet?

2. Do I need a theme park ticket as well as party ticket to get in?

3 If we did go we would the Oct. 18 party, is it sold out?

Thanks for your help.

Total party newbie questions...

1. Have 2007 tickets gone on sale yet? No. They will go on sale on/about May 1st.

2. Do I need a theme park ticket as well as party ticket to get in? No. Your MNSSHP ticket is all that you need. In years past they have allowed entrance at 4pm with the ticket.

3 If we did go we would the Oct. 18 party, is it sold out? See #1

Thanks for your help.

De nada :)

Is there any word yet as to whether or not there WILL be a MNSSHP on Oct 1st? I sure hope so, I am planning my Sept/Oct trip around that date so I can attend that particular party! I have already made ADRs (like at CP for 4 pm on Oct 1.) I am trying to rent points for those dates, also. This is all so I can go to that particular MNSSHP! I saw it posted on this board that the dates would include Oct 1, but after reading the OP's post my heart just sank. I did not realize it was just tentative! YIKES! Please, I hope someone can give me some good news on that.....

We were also planning on attending the 10/1 party and worked our entire trip around it. Then I came up with a Plan B when the October hours were posted. I also have a Plan C in case there is a party on 9/30 since I really do not think they would have two back-to-back MK EMH at night.

Also, Disney originally released the 10/1 date to their travel agents so at one point it was a date.

Hopefully, we will know soon.

Historically, do the parties (other than Halloween night and the Columbus day weekend) ever sell out? Is it possible to buy tickets at the door or is that risky?

Also, it seems like a lot of people are going Sept 14. Is that because it coincides with free dining? Is the first night usually super crowded? That's the only night we can go, and we moved the trip back a week so we could go to it, so I'm just wondering why that night is so popular. :confused3

mirthmaiden, Who knows what evil lies in the hearts of men, The Shadow knows!!" No, I am not old enough to have actually ever heard that show but I read. :thumbsup2

Annoying? Heck I work with dozens of small children on a daily basis and actually enjoy it. I have nerves of steel and besides I have nothing to hide. Pretty sad, ain't it?

Thanks for the offer of the report about the Halloween Party on the 14th but you best knock on my door to let me know as I will already be at DW, tickets tucked away, and it will be far too late for me to change any plans.

I think I shall go as 'myself'. Sure that no one else will have the same costume. :rotfl2:

Besides, it is my intention to sit at the RR station and watch all of YOU guys and wait for the parade.:dance3:

I am slightly nervous about going on Halloween. I tried to talk my son out of it, but it is his birthday. He really wants to do this even though I know it is going to be crowded. Does anyone know how fast the tickets will sell out for Halloween night? I'm sure I need to buy them fast, but I'm trying to budget out our spending so if we have any last minute suprises there is no problems.

I have gone on Halloween. I plan to go again this year. It's not as bad as a summer day. We waited no longer then 15 minutes for rides. Most things were no wait. Lines were long for candy, but It really cleared out after the parade. We got our candy then. I wouldn't worry too much about attending on Halloween. IMO Halloween crowds are better then crowds during the summer.

Thanks for letting me know that the tickets go on sale May 1st, but where do I purchase them? thanks!

They may go on sale May 1. That is the date they went on sale last year.

Once they go on sale, you can buy them over the phone through Disney's main number, online at Disney's website, or at WDW at Guest Relations. Also if you have a TA, they can buy them for you as well.

I'm not sure if they parties sell out much or not. I attended my first one last September 15th because it was during the free dining time while we were there, and if they have one on the 14th we'll probably go again this year!

There were no crowds at the park that week at all, and they only part I found busy on the MNSSHP night were the lines for the candy and the villians meet and greet. The park in general was not that crowded and lines for the rides were minimal at most. That being said, it did rain for about half the night!
