I don't know what to make of that calendar! It says every Thur and Fri (except Fri the 19th (mine))) MK closes at 7. So, is the party on Thur or Fri?

I'm confused. I want to book ADR's for LTT.:confused3

I would assume that every night that MK closes at 7:00p is a party night.

Parties have historically fallen on Sundays (before last year), Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

These are the days MK closes at 7:00p:

September 14, 21, 28
October 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31

Of course, everything is subject to change and maybe when they actually release the party dates, the October park hours 'could' possibly change.

We'll be there 9/21! We went last year and had such a great time we HAD to do it again.

Do they limit how many people can attend the party or is it pretty much anyone that is interested in going will be able to find a ticket even up to that day?

I'm still a little confused because Oct 11th the park hours say EMH. Why would it close at 7 and then have EMH?

There is a limited amount of tickets, but Disney has never officially said how many tickets are available. I honestly can't remember how many tickets we've discussed on here before.

There are dates that sell out (i.e. Halloween night). There's never a guarantee which dates will and will not sell out. It's pretty safe to say that the earlier the date you're interested in, the less of a chance there is of selling out. But again, there's no guarantee of that. It's best to just purchase the tickets in advance, as for the most part, it can also save you some money with advanced purchase savings (I say for the most part because there are one or two nights where you do not have advanced purchase savings at all...such as Halloween).

If I recall, in 2006 one of the early dates, Sept 29th, sold out. It was due to a 'perfect storm' of being a Friday night, the last weekend of Free Dining, and the start of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival (also, I think some FL schools may have had a 3-day weekend). This year, the Free Dining apparently ends on 9/22, but the F&WF starts on the 28th, so there may not be such a huge crush this year.

Honestly, though, I'm willing to bet that even the Halloween party won't sell out until much later in the year, you have to remember that the vast majority of WDW guests do not plan that far in advance, check message boards, call WDW-DINE 180 days out, etc. When we went last year on Oct 23, you could still buy tickets that day for the party.

Which is why I said there's no guarantee which dates will and will not sell out. ;)

I just got an email from my AAA agent. She said she has the dates for the Halloween party. I am going in there later this afternoon to pay my deposit.

I'd be curious what the agent has. Just spoke with a CM who said they don't yet have official dates. Others here have said we might now from DIS before CM's do! Odd... :confused3

My AAA TA emailed me yesterday saying she had the dates, but the tickets weren't available until May?? Can I ask why you're going to pay a deposit now?

here is the email I just got from my AAA agent:

The tickets go on sale in June. The dates are Sept 14,21,28, Oct 4,5,8,11,12,14,16,18,21,23,25,26,28,30,31.

I am certain that these are offical dates - they came from Walt Disney Travel Company Travel Agent information.

Date(s): FALL: September 14, 21, 28, October 1, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31 and November 2, 2007Location(s): Magic Kingdom Park

At least the 2nd set of dates coincides with when the park closes at 7pm... :confused3 this is frustrating!

That's why I think we just have to wait until Disney releases the dates to us. I don't consider any of it official until the big cheese himself says so.

FWIW -- when I called in my ADR yesterday to Disney Dining I asked about the MNSSHP dates; when they'd be "official" and when the tickets would go on sale. The CM told me to look at the park times to "guesstimate" the dates and tickets would not be going on sale until June 1st. :confused3

Honestly, this late date for MNSSHP's tickets doesn't surprise me. The P&PP's tickets still need to go on sale and those events are in August and September. I don't even think that the P&PP dates are out yet either.

In other news....I want the dates to come out! I want to buy my ticket! I want all the ducks lined up for my September trip! :lmao:

We're hoping to go on September 14th. We've taken our sons about 4 times and we're really looking forward to taking our daughter for the first time!

I've made reservations at CP for an early dinner that night in hopes there will be a MNSSHP that night. :thumbsup2

Ok...sorry if this has been addressed, but I read through a few pages and didnt see it. I know there are separate tix for the Halloween party. But how is that enforced? What if you are in magic kingdom that day? Does it shut down and then people are readmitted with tix for the MNSSHP? I cant seem to find this info anywhere! It seems that would be a hassle. At the same time I dont think this is covered by my park hopper ticket is it?
