"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

Frontierland :( I guess I'll have to send my husband to hold a spot for us earlier to get on mainstreet.
Sold out party on 11/18 - plenty of second row good seats available at 10:30 in Town Square. There is a longer wait because it starts in Frontierland though. Also, snow effect is less in TS than Main St proper.

hi ive been trying to find an answer to this question through search but not finding my answer yet....I used to go to MVMCP every year. however last year I did not go nor will I go this year. Its too expensive now for me :(so last year I went the day after the last MVMCP to MK to see the Christmas parade. well My pass blackout date is I believe after dec 18th this year. but it looks like there is an MVMCP on the 22nd? so does that mean regular ticket to MK won't see the Christmas parade till the 23rd?????????????? if so then I don't get to see it this year? I hope I am wrong. please advise...as I was planning a trip to MK to see the parade that weekend before blackout and then to Epcot.

Sorry - no Christmas parade during regular park hours until the 23rd this year.

Looking at the calendar schedule online I don't see the Christmas parade nor Holiday wishes during non-party hours until Dec 23rd. Adding that last party seems to have pushed it all back.

Can you ride BTMRR during the party now that it's reopened from refurb? The maps I see don't have it listed...

Thank you. There is hope for us after all :)

alright. I think the question I asked earlier might have been confused.
  • Sandy Claws aka Jack Skellington
  • Santa Clause
  • The Seven Dwarfs
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Daisy Donald and Scrooge
  • Santa Goofy
  • Aurora and Phillip
  • Tiana and Prince Naveen
  • Cinderella and Prince Charming
  • Ariel
  • Snow White and The Prince
  • Mary Poppins, Bert and the Penguin
  • Princess Elena
  • Merida
  • Captain Jack Sparrow
  • Tinkerbell
  • Rapunzel & Flynn Rider
  • Nick Wilde & Judy Hopps
  • Peter Pan
  • Abu, Jasmine, Aladdin & Genie
  • Mickey Mouse
of the list above. Can I meet these chr's duering park hours in the other parks or in magic kingdom? If I did are they in the christmas out fits duering reguler hours or just in the normal outfits?

Also is Bell in her christmas dress any where around Epcot?
Also are the treet stations free and can you go back more then once? Like My son hate Pepermint. Like so bad he hates toothpaste (mint) so if we find a treat station not having those type of things. He would like to go back to it.
Also is there a list of the treats at each station?

I don't want to wait more than 30 minutes for the parade. Should I go to the first or second one? Where will I be able to view it without waiting forever? I'm going on Friday, Dec 9. Any predictions on the crowds. We aren't into the characters, except Mickey and Princess Elena. What do you think?

Frontierland is an awesome place to watch ANY of the parades! It's our "go to" spot! Did NOT like viewing the parade last year on Main Street...WAY to many people. DH and I are heading for Frontierland about 15-20 minutes before the parade begins. :tink:

During park hours you can meet Santa Claus, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, all the princesses, Mary Poppins, Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, Aladdin, and Jasmine. They will meet in their normal attire. However, you can see Santa Goofy at the Animal Kingdom. Belle is unfortunately not in her Christmas dress, but has a blue cape on. You can go back to treat stations.

In the past Belle has appeared in her red gown at Akershus right around Christmas week. I know we've been there in early December and she was still in yellow though.

You find 15-20 to be enough for the first parade? Where on Frontierland do you recommend?

I was thinking actually doing Liberty Square, but I'm guessing 'deeper' into Frontierland would be less crowded?

Last year she met in her red dress on Christmas Day at her Epcot M&G (which was a change from prior years, where she had the red dress on at Akershus, as you mentioned). No guarantee what will happen this year though. But no red dress at MVMCP for sure.

We always watch FOF right by the start of the parade route (so near Splash) and it's relatively uncrowded. We walked by this area at MNSSHP right before the start of the first parade and there were still 2nd row spots available (we actually stopped to watch the headless horseman ride and had a great view).

I will second this. We have always grabbed a spot near the flagpole around 1045 and had no problem getting a curbside spot.

We did this for the Halloween party and got curbside. Yes, you wait longer but it sure made exiting the park easy :) My husband sat with my daughter while I browsed the shops a bit there to kill time.

More than once. And at one spot I had them ask me how many I wanted.

Town Square - almond Christmas Tree cookie (??) I missed this one as they stopped before I got back there late in the evening.
Adventureland - hot cocoa and snickerdoodle.
Heritage House - egg nog and ginger molasses cookie
Friar's Nook - blue Snowcone and snowman sugar cookie
Pete's Silly Sideshow - apple cider and snowman sugar cookie
Lunching Pad - Hot cocoa and peppermint bark cookie (with chocolate chips).

Disney food blog reports: "We also fully expect the return of alternative treats for guests with food sensitivities. In the past, Gluten Free Cookies, Apple Slices, and Juice have also been available." I was offered juice at Tortuga Tavern.

Thanks for the answers everyone. Also do chr lines get shorter at the end of the night?

Any reports on waits for Scrooge McDuck? It's really the only character DH cares about meeting.
