***Official March 2021 Thread***

How much longer did the connecting flight take? There was a flight that opened up and for some reason it goes from STL to Denver... then Orlando of course... I mean? I don't ever fly but that seems kind of out of the way. lol

It was 3 hours longer with a change. Typically a flight for us is a little more than 2 hours from MCO to BWI. They'll have their 2 kids in toe and my sister works as a school admin and their kids are school age so a flight getting in after 10pm wasn't going to work with still a drive home from the airport.

Okay doing a quick scan of the menu, my daughter will probably want to try the scallops. She loves them and gets them anytime she can.

Has anyone been doing practice runs trying to get Boarding groups for RotR? I've tried a few times and always get the "Not so fast" page. That's a good sign so I'm hoping it all goes that well once we are actually going.

Just saw MK hours were extended to 10:00p on Monday, 3/8 (from 8:00p)…should I be nervous? I’m trying to convince my husband we should pay the $12 total upcharge for Tuesday, 3/9 tickets. With our 2 y/o we won’t stay past 8:00p anyway, so the extra hours don’t mean anything. But lower crowds…that’s worth $$ to me!

What does the "not so fast" page mean?

JUST learned about how to practice from home without tickets. So basically, you follow all the tips and tricks of getting a boarding group, and if you eventually get to the "Not So Fast" page, it means you were actually successful. I meant to try today at 7, but forgot! I'm going to try at 1:00!

Yep, what JJ said. It basically stops you saying you and everyone in your party has to have a reservation for HS that day in order to actually get a BG so it stops you. If you are not successful it would say there are no boarding groups available. Its a nice way to practice so your familiar with how it all works so when you are actually trying for a real BG you know exactly what to do.

Yep practice really helps--you have to move sooooo quickly, so knowing where to click at each stage of the sign up really helps. I did a bunch of practicing before our first ROTR attempt and DH practiced all of one time. I had been assigned a boarding group before he even got to picking party members.

The other most important thing to do is turn off your wifi and use 4G before you start. Disney wifi is just too slow.

Yes, we've been practicing. My husband has been getting it almost every time and I've only gotten it once. We tested our connection speed and his is WAY better! I'm assuming we are getting it based on the "no park reservation found" message we get vs the ones I usually get of "current booking window is full."

Got you added to the list.

I feel like I have missed adding someone to the list so if I skipped you please let me know. The thread started moving faster lately so I may have overlooked someone.
Thanks 😊

We have my niece's bridal shower Sunday and I plan to walk my sisters through the steps so maybe they can start practicing too. My daughter is super face on her phone so I am going to make sure her and both of my nieces know how to do it as well.

Since my DIL needs me to watch my grand daughter this evening instead of today during the day, I’ve been working on more ears. Including this Cruella De Vil inspired pair.

We are loving the fuzzy poofs as ears so we have made several pairs using them. I just need to get pictures once we get them all done.

I never even thought to do that! I will have to practice for sure!
