Oh you will LOVE lunch at Chefs! I recommend the 3-course prefixed menu. I am getting the exact same thing I got last year: french onion soup, macaroni and cheese and profiteroles! So delicious!

I'm so glad to hear this!! We booked it specifically for the Prix Fix Menu. Thanks for letting us know how delicious it is :thumbsup2 We're super excited to try it!!

Thanks for the infor on the Dessert Party. Sounds like something me and my GD will enjoy while the DH is back at WL turning in early.:goodvibes

Absolutely!! The choices are so yummy and Tink flies right over your head! There's lots of space and you're not crowded or waiting for 30 minutes sitting on a curb beforehand :thumbsup2

Yeah but I'm already starting to feel jealous that once I'm home, you guys will still be looking forward to your trips!

Is it sick that I'm already getting sad that it's going to be over soon?!

No, I haven't even left yet. We have 21 more days until we check in. 20 more days until we leave for WDW and I am already thinking about how bored I am going to be with nothing to plan after we get back.

We have to do a really good cleaning since we will be having my DD's birthday party two days after we get home. Hopefully we get everything done and only need to get the party supplies and mow the yard when we get back.

I know what you mean. My DS's 4th birthday is 5 days after we get back and I need to make sure I order all his supplies before we leave. My DS always has two birthdays because my family lives in NJ and my husband's family lives here in MD. This year he chose a Toy Story 3 themed party and a Pirates of the Caribbean Party. He's a Disney boy after my own heart. I can't find exact Pirates plates...so he is getting something really close, but I know he will like it either way.

I hear ya though...right now, I'm most excited for dinner at Rose and Crown, most likely because that's our first night...then I'm sure I'll just be looking forward to whatever's next!

we've never eaten at CdeF but we've booked an early dinner so we can see Remi :) i'm looking forward to the 3 course dinner.

R&C - Love that place. we're not having a meal there this year because we chose to try Japan for dinner but 2 hours later we're going for appy and dessert - Potato and Leak soup yummmmmmmy and Sticky toffee pouding Mmm.

and of course dh wants the beer taster

Oh no........I hope she will recover fast. Will you be okay for your trip??

Hopefully, the most uncomfortable part will be over before you leave for the road. Do they have medicine to stop the nasty itching? My girls are eight and haven't suffered through the chix pox yet. I remember how awful it was when I was little. Your poor little one!

Uh-oh, I'm so sorry for your little one. I had chicken pox in 8th grade, and I was miserable. But I never got the vaccine. Both of my boys had the vaccine though. I hope she gets better real soon!

Chicken Pox - the poor thing!!! Hopefully it's a mild case that will clear up quickly!

Oh man, that stinks!! I hope that she gets over it quickly. Hopefully it will be a milder case seems as she has had the shot!

THANK YOU for all the kind words and well-wishes. Well, the doc said it is not chicken pox but she developed some kind of rash to "something". I sort of wish it was CP, only b/c then we would know what it is. She doesn't want us to go to a skin doc yet ... said it could be just something she picked up at the pool or playing in the yard or a detergent ...We're just supposed to keep an eye out for it.

So, :thumbsup2 it's not contagious ... doc said we can put some anti-itch lotion on so she'll be more comfortable.

Pre-trip tradition -- I'm starting a new one thanks to a few of you guys -- I just scheduled a pedicure for the morning we leave!! I know a manicure won't last (or at least the polish).

Tomorrow I get to do on-line check-in! Now I really know it is getting close!

Nikki and others -- I agree with you about already feeling sad it is going to be over soon. We plan and invest so much time into planning the trip, that the actual trip goes waaaay too fast.

But of course the best cure, is to plan another one!! We are going again in May 2011 to get our 2nd trip in on this annual pass.:cool1: I haven't done a thing for that trip yet...will work on it after we come back.

Our tradition is just getting pizza and chilling out before going to bed early. Since my grandmother lives with us now she may just make dinner :rotfl:

Were having bad weather today. It looks like it's going to storm soon :scared1:
Our flight has been changed for a 3rd time. Were now leaving at 9:20AM and getting in to Orlando at 11:15 or something like that lol.

Have a magical week everyone! 4 days left to go!! :thumbsup2
Uh-oh--I hate flight changes. AirTran? They're the worst!

2 days.....we leave in 2 days. YEP, I'm stressed.
I get like that, too. I always tell myself-there are stores in Orlando!

Are you using benadryl or anything? Hope it goes away without further trouble.

Got my toes and nails done tonight! I aked for the 3-circle Mickey head on my toes, but she didn't quite get it. No problem--I'll figure something out!

My pre-trip tradition is a bit boring. I clean my house. It makes coming home from vacation so much easier! I also buy a bag of m&ms and a bag of twizzlers. Those are travel food to us.

I didn't give her benadryl but I may if she has a difficult night again tonight.

Oh, I will definitely ask them to do the Mickey head on my toes. If they can't do that then I'll ask for each toe to be an alternating color -- black, yellow and red!:thumbsup2

I drive my dh nuts with wanting my house PERFECT when we leave..that means clean sheets on all the beds, laundry caught up and the house CLEAN. I too like to come home to a clean house although because we always go for 10 days to 2 weeks..THE HOUSE STILL GETS DUSTY. UGH but it is nice to walk in and see everything in it's spot. So my stress is right up until we leave usually. :scared1:

Yikes - that's what I'm working on now. The main part of the house is in pretty good shape but I actually want to get the basement clean too. It would just be soooo nice to come home to a nice, organized house! Now to get the kids to keep their rooms clean! What scares me is I go to Orlando four days before dh and the kids come down...I can just see them messing it all up before they leave!

I got my fingers and toes done today - I asked my nail tech to put Mickey heads on my big toes and she told me no! She said it would look dumb! Huh...I told her I was going to find a black Sharpie and do it myself. She said - let me know how that works for you! Good thing I have been going to her for years! I was a little bummed but I am over it...
Just showed DH my trip planning binder and my 4x6 trip planning cards...he said "ok...now I'm scared! I didn't know someone could overplan!" Got a few things to get done tomorrow...but I'm feeling good. Lego Harry Potter comes out tomorrow so we are headed to Gamestop in the the morning to pick up our preorder. I may have to hold it from DS so he has something new for the plane! Got all my clothes out and and DS, just waiting on DH. Got two little load of laundry to do in the am...but other than that I feel good! So good - I am going to water aerobics bright and early...so good night!

I am the exact same way--I even vacuum one more time just before we leave for the airport! And as far as packing... usually it is after dinner the night before we leave! I am going to try to do a nice pre-trip event the day before I leave this time. It would be so much nicer to get ready for vacation that way.

Oh definately, the house has to be spotless! We have one of my former students coming in to take care of the cats while we're gone, so it HAS to be clean anyway!! There's nothing like coming home to a clean house! And, oh my, I'm doing the SINGLE DIGIT DANCE - HIT IT!

Definitely working on having a spotless house when we leave. Just hope it's still here when we get back. Planning to have a young man stay here to look after things and feed our horse, chickens and dogs. Mainly hoping there will be no big parties. Some of DH's "boys" like to build bonfires.
