I'm there with you guys needing a spotless house before we leave - the letdown feeling of vacation being over is bad enough without the annoyance of a dirty house on top of it! Coming home to a clean house makes me feel a little better.

Those of you staying at POR, please take lots of pics and notes. We had a minor financial issue this past week and now DH is worried and thinking we should move from AKL to POR. We LOVE POFQ and thought it might be nice to try her brother It would only save us about $200, though, so we're not sure if it's worth changing our plans without a 'major' savings.

Now I get to play catch up!

I'm working on getting our house immaculate (or as immaculate as it can get with 3 little girls around) before we leave. Friday I'm going to clean out my Fridge as the kitchen has been cleaned and has stayed clean. Laundry on the other hand is another issuewe keep pulling out our swimsuits to go to the lake or to the pool here. I also have to get my oldest DD to get her room clean but I'm thinking I might end up doing that one as well. I also have to clean around and under mine and DH's computer desks to look for my missing camera charger.

I'm going to get my back adjusted before we leave and get my nails done. I have this funky teal color from hard candy. Hopefully the nail tech I go to can do Mickey...if not I'm going to only have one Mickey head on my left hand. We also might order pizza the night before we leave just so I dont have a ton of dishes to wash.

THANK YOU for all the kind words and well-wishes. Well, the doc said it is not chicken pox but she developed some kind of rash to "something". I sort of wish it was CP, only b/c then we would know what it is. She doesn't want us to go to a skin doc yet ... said it could be just something she picked up at the pool or playing in the yard or a detergent ...We're just supposed to keep an eye out for it.

So, it's not contagious ... doc said we can put some anti-itch lotion on so she'll be more comfortable.

Well on the upside it's not Chicken Pox! I hope she's feeling better though, I know how much itching can stink.

Well, taking my DS15 to the doctor this morning. He has a spot of poison ivy for two weeks that will not clear up and it seems he has new spots on his arm and his face today. Yuck! I think it's time for a shot. We will see what the doctor thinks!

Well 20 days until our WDW trip to WL. My mom called this morning to say that my grandmother died this morning. She was taken to the hospital last night. So now my mom is helping to plan a funeral before our trip. I guess things happen for a reason and she was in her late 80s and lived a long productive life, but it's still not news I wanted to hear this morning.

Oh definately, the house has to be spotless! We have one of my former students coming in to take care of the cats while we're gone, so it HAS to be clean anyway!! There's nothing like coming home to a clean house! And, oh my, I'm doing the SINGLE DIGIT DANCE - HIT IT!

Ok, when I said I clean house, I didn't mean spotless! The cats will be here so there's no way it'd stay that way, anyway. I will clean bathrooms, finish all laundry, vacuum the upstairs, etc. (We block the cats to the kitchen, family room & entry)
